• Candidates aspiring to get admission into Odisha DET 2024 have to fill the Online Application Form. There is no offline mode to submit the application form.
• Application for has been released on 1st April 2024 for 1st year diploma and lateral entry diploma.
• Candidates have to register themselves by providing details like name, email Id and phone number, etc.
• To fill the form, candidates have to provide personal details, academic qualifications, etc.
• Necessary documents such as scanned photograph and signature must be attached along with the application form.
• Candidates must fill the form carefully and correctly. In case, there is any mistake found in the application form, the form will be rejected.
• The last date to fill the application form is till 30th April 2024.

Odisha DET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for Odisha DET 2024, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

For Diploma in Engineering/ Technology:

• Qualification: Candidates should have completed 10th standard or equivalent examination from a recognised board.
• Age: Candidates must be of 14 years as on 1st July 2024. The age limit for candidates applying for Mining and Drilling Engineering is 16 years. There is no maximum age limit prescribed by authority.
• Marks obtained: Candidates should secure at least 35% marks in aggregate and 30% marks separately in each of mandatory subjects (English, Mathematics and Science).

For Diploma in Non-Engineering Courses:

• Age:  The lower age limit for will be 16 years other than Beauty Culture. For Beauty culture, candidates’ age must be at least 14 years. There will be no upper age limit.
• Modern Office Management (MOM): Aspirants must have passed 12th examination  or its equivalent with Science/ Arts/ Commerce/ Vocational recognised by CHSE, Odisha. Minimum of 30% marks must be obtained in each subject. 
• Beauty Culture: Candidates passed in HSC examination or 10th class exams conducted by BSE, Odisha with a minimum qualifying marks of 30% in each subject and 35% marks in aggregate. Subjects opted should be English, Mathematics and sciences as compulsory.

How to Apply for Odisha DET 2024

To apply for Odisha DET 2024, candidates have to follow these steps:

• Visit the website of Odisha DET (link is provided above).
• Click on option – “Odisha DET 2024”.
• Applicants will have to register themselves to the portal.
• Click on the “Candidate Registration” link and provide details like name , mobile number, email ID, etc.
• Candidates have to provide the OTP sent on their Registered email ID or phone number for validation.
• Click on the “login” button. Enter the username and password provided on the email ID during registration.
• Fill the application form by providing personal details and academic qualification, etc.
• Upload a scanned recent colour photograph and full signature of the applicant in a prescribed size and format.
• After filling the details, click on “Save & Preview”.
• Cross-check the details before final submission.
• Now, click on the “submit application” button.
• Click on the “Pay the fee”button.
• Pay the prescribed fee using Debit card/Credit card/ Net banking/ UPI payments.
• Applicants will have to take the print out of the application form and fee receipt for future references.
