B.Tech Admission 2016
The Himachal Pradesh Technical University conducts the admissions to the various undergraduate engineering courses in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The admission will be done through JEE Main.
Eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2016 are mentioned below:
- The applicants must have passed 12th or its corresponding exam with 45% (mini.) marks in combined (40% for ST/SC /PH)
- The studied of Physics and Mathematics should be compulsory subjects in 12th with Chemistry/Biology/ Biotechnology as optional subjects.
- The applicants who are appearing for their Class 12th exams in 2016 are also qualified.
- The applicants should have eligible in the JEE Main 2016 exam.

Selection Process
Himachal Pradesh B.Tech Admission 2016 selection Procedure will be based on the All India Rank of JEE Main 2016. The qualified candidates will be called for counselling round. The seats will be allotted to the candidates as per their JEE Main 2016 rank & Class 12th marks and the choices filled by the candidates. At last, take out the hard copy of the seat allotment letter and report to the allotted college.
