Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology (MIT) is fully government and co-educational college of engineering and technology administered and recognized by the Department of Science and Technology, Bihar. MIT is one of the oldest technical institutes in India established in the year 1954 . The foundation stone was laid by the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. College is affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna. College has approved by AICTE – All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi; Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi and Ministry of Human Resource and Development, New Delhi.

Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology is situated on Muzaffarpur-Motihari road spread over an area of 55 acres at 4 km from Muzaffarpur junction in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar.

Programmes:
