Punjab Agricultural University, College of Agriculture Engineering & Technology
College of Agriculture Engineering & Technology was established in the year 1964 as one of the constituent college of Punjab Agriculture University (PAU) Ludhiana. The college was established with the objective of providing quality higher education and research in the fields of Agriculture engineering, and some other disciplines of engineering. The Punjab Agricultural University is a renowned institution in the country and considered one of the best in the Asia providing education and research work in the field of Agriculture Engineering. The university has been recognized by UGC, ACU and Indian Council for Agriculture and Research (ICAR). The University has the college of engineering that runs UG and PG agriculture programs.
Campus:
The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) is located in Ludhiana city of Punjab. The university campus is spread in an area of 1510 acres, the university is well connected by road and rail. The university campus comprises has state of the art laboratories, research stations, farms, lecture halls, to conduct the education in advance manner so as to contribute in the food grain production and developing latest technologies for the farmers.

Facilities:
The university has excellent infrastructure, having state of the art laboratories for conducting practical and research work. Fully furnished and ventilated lecture halls with audio visual aids. The University has well stocked central library having large collection of books and journals. The university also have large research station covering an area of more than 4500 acres. The other facilities offered by the university include sports facility and hostel facilities.
Activities:
The university gives large emphasis on the all round development of the students, therefore various activities are organized throughout the year. The university has various sports facilities like basketball, badminton, cricket, cycling, swimming, volleyball, weight lifting, kabaddi, lawn tennis and handball.
Placement:
PAU Jalandhar has a separate training and placement cell which conducts and manages training and placements of the graduating student. The cell also conducts seminars and guest lectures from the eminent personalities so as to guide the student about the latest technologies and employment scenario in the industry.
