Radha Govind Engineering College, Meerut

Radha Govind Engineering College (RGEC) was established in the year 1996 as a private and self-financed institution set up by the Shree Krishna Shiksha Prasar Samiti, Meerut. The college is affiliated to the UP Technical University, Lucknow and approved by the AICTE and MHRD, New Delhi. The college is recognized by the UP Board of Technical Education and State Government of UP. In the year 2010 the AICTE has inspected and granted this a status as an integrated campus, which was renamed as Radha Govind Group of Institutions.
Campus:
The RGEC is situated on the Garh Road in Anuyagipuram in Meerut, the district of UP. The college is established with the IIMS in its premises which is also set up by the same Trust. The campus comes under the Delhi-NCR region.
Programmes:
The RGEC offers total 10 academic programmes as UG and PG courses in the field of technology & engineering and Management. The IIMS also offers the BBA, BCA and B.Ed programmes affiliated to CCS University, Meerut.
Students & Faculty:
The RGEC offers the 912 students as an Intake capacity in all programmes, beside the capacity of 440 students in all programmes offers by the IIMS. The college provides the world class faculty as well qualified 60 members in it.
Facilities:
The college has an anti-ragging environment with student and women grievance cells. The college provides the scholarships to the needy and meritorious students. The college has a huge library with more than 90,000 volumes of books, a spacious auditorium & seminar hall, well equipped computer centre & labs and transportation.
Placement & Activities:
The college has an individual training and placement cell for providing the job placement and seminars & Internships. The college organized alumni meet, industrial visits and conducts extracurricular activities like sports and annual fest.
