Kalka Engineering College, Meerut

Kalka Engineering College (KEC) was established in the year 1974 as a private, self-financed and co-educational institution set up by the Kalka Educational Society. The society has founded 11 colleges in Meerut, Delhi and overseas as in Kuwait. The college is affiliated to the UP technical University formerly known as MTU, Noida and approved by the AICTE, MHRD, New Delhi and State Government of UP.

Campus:

The college is situated on the Partapur Bypass Road, near Partapur Flyover in Meerut, the district of UP. The campus comes into the National Capital Region. It is well-connected by the roads.

Programmes:

The KEC is offering the 4 year full-time B.Tech degree courses in six disciplines of engineering and technology with an intake capacity of 420 students in all programmes. The admission in all programmes is to be done on the basis of state entrance examination conducted by the UPTU.

Facilities:

The college has a good infrastructure with high-tech equipments and spacious amenities. The college has separated hostels for boys and girls inside the campus. The college also has spacious lecture rooms, library, separated labs and workshops, playground and transportation facility.

Placement & Activities:

The college has a training & placement cell which is providing the opportunity to get the best job placement for the students and arranging the PDP, interviews, seminars, guest lectures and internship for the students.

The college conducts academic, social and cultural programmes and striving to develop the leadership quality, self-motivation and physical & emotional skills in the students.
