College of Basic Sciences & Humanities is Private, Self-financed, non-minority and co-educational college of agricultural engineering and technology was established in the year 1981 and affiliated to Rajendra Agricultural University, Pusa. College is recognized by the department of science and technology, government of Bihar. College is approved by AICTE- All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and MHRD- Ministry of Human Resource and Development, New Delhi. Ragging is punishable offence and strictly banned in campus as per the order of Supreme Court of India and AICTE norms.

College of Basic Sciences & Humanities starts with an objective to strengthen the teaching and research programme in different discipline of basic science so that it would be a strong supportive programme for the other faculty. College is committed to train the students with modern technology and conduct basic and applied research in the field of agricultural bio technology. To achieve its object, college conducts various projects in research field and has been providing best scientist and technocrats since its inception.

College of Basic Sciences & Humanities is situated in the campus of Rajendra Agriculture University, also known as “Pusa Farm” at Pusa in Samastipur district of Bihar. Campus is well connected by roads and railway network. The nearest railway station is ‘Khudi Ram Bose Pusa’. It is 18 km away from the city in a sprawling area with all facilities, amenities and infrastructure as per AICTE norms.
