IGNOU 2023 Application Form has been extended till 20th October 2023 for July (Online/ ODL courses). It is available for B.Ed through online mode. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will be conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). The exam is conducted for candidates who want to get admission in various UG and PG programmes. It is a university level entrance exam conducted every year in two sessions i.e., January and July. From 2022, IGNOU OPENMAT exam has been cancelled. Here are details about IGNOU 2023 application form with some key instructions:
- The application form of IGNOU 2023 has been available through online mode, no other mode is applicable.
- Application form for B.Ed. course has been released from 21st November 2022.
- IGNOU application form for UG/ PG courses has been released for January admission cycle.
- Fill the application form with details such as personal, education qualification, email id, etc.
- Candidates need to upload scanned documents such as photograph, signature, copy of age proof, category certificate, etc.
- There is no need to send hardcopy of the filled application form to the authorities.
- Download the form and take the printout of the application form for further use.
Application Fee:
- Application fee for IGNOU 2023 can be submitted through online mode.
- Candidates can pay the fee through Credit card, Debit card and Net Banking.

IGNOU 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must check the following eligibility criteria for IGNOU before applying for application form:
B.Ed. course:
- Qualification: Candidate who have completed their Bachelor degree/ Master degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Commerce/ Bachelors in Engineering/ Technology with specialisation in Science & Mathematics.
- Marks Criteria: One should obtain 50% marks in Bachelor degree/ Master degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Commerce. 55% marks in Bachelors in Engineering/ Technology with specialisation in Science & Mathematics.
- Candidates who are – trained in service teachers in elementary education & candidates having complete NCTE recognised teacher education programme through face to face mode.
- Selection: The candidates will be selected based on the university level entrance test performance.
MBA Program:
- Qualification: The candidate must be graduated from recognized university/ institute.
- Marks: In qualifying exam candidate must obtain at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category).
- As MBA entrance exam is scrapped, the admission will be offered based on merit scores of qualifying exam.

How to Apply for IGNOU 2023
Following are steps for filling the online application form of IGNOU 2023 below:
- Visit the website (link is available above).
- If candidate is already registered, they have to login by entering username, password, and enter captcha.
- For New candidates they are advised to click the available programme tab on home page.
- Click on the button New Registration that appears in applicant login.
- While choosing the Username it must be between 8 to 16 characters.
- Fill the application form with details such as personal, education qualification, phone number, etc.
- Upload the scanned documents i.e., photograph, signature, category certificate, BPL certificate, etc.
- The size of scanned photograph and signature should be less than 100 KB.
- Size of scanned copy of age proof, category certificate, BPL certificate must be less than 200 KB.
- Candidates can now proceed to the payment of application form among the different payment options.
- The fee will be submitted through online mode using Net Banking, Credit card, Debit card, UPI services.
- The confirmation page of online application form will be generated only after successful payment by the candidate.
- Download and take the printout of the application form and fee receipt for future reference.
