Osmania University Entrance Exam | Osmania University Admission Process

University conducts its own entrance exam called CPGET (Common Post-Graduate Entrance exam) for admission to PG courses and 5-year integrated courses. This exam was earlier known as OUCET (Osmania University Common Entrance Test).

Admission to UG course will be given through marks in qualifying exam. Candidates will also be able to get admission on the basis of other national level exams i.e. GATE/ JEE Main/ CAT etc.

• University will not provide any correction facility, so candidates are advised to fill correct details in the form.

• Debit card, credit card or net banking will be the online payment gateways.

Osmania University 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must go through Osmania University Eligibility Criteria 2025:

For B.Tech:

• Qualifications: Candidates must have completed Intermediate Education & equivalent exam from a recognised board.
• Subjects: One must have Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry as mandatory subjects in their qualifying exam.

For B.Sc. Course:

• Qualification: Candidates must pass 10+2 examination from any recognized board with concerned science subjects.
• Marks: At least, candidates must score 40% marks in concerned subject science to apply.

For MBA (5 yrs Integrated):

• Qualification: One must have passed 10+2 level or equivalent exam from any recognized board.
• Minimum Marks: Candidates must score at least 50% marks (SC/ ST candidates must have pass marks only) in the qualifying examination.

For M.Sc:

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed UG degree in relevant subjects or any other relevant discipline.
• Appearing: Final year appearing candidates will also be eligible to apply.

Osmania University 2025 Admission Procedure

Osmania University Admission Procedure 2025 will consist of various rounds i.e. registration, form filling, fee payment, entrance exam, PI and counselling procedure. University will organise this procedure based on merit list and PI round.

Candidates will get admission to UG & PG courses at Osmania University through university level entrance exam. Admission will also be offered through national level entrance exam i.e. JEE Main, GMAT, CAT, GATE etc.

Osmania University 2025 Entrance Exam (CPGET)

Osmania University conducts a university level entrance examination called as CPGET. Examination is conducted to offer admission in various PG, PG Diploma, and 5 yrs. Integrated Courses. This entrance tests will consist of 100 objective type multiple choice questions for all the subjects.

Question paper will be of total of 100 marks. Total 90 minutes will be provided to the candidates to solve question paper. No marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.

Osmania University 2025 Result/ Merit List

Osmania University Merit List 2025 will be released for candidates those have appeared in entrance examination. Candidates will be eligible to check merit list through online mode in fourth week of August 2025.

Those shortlisted candidates whose names listed in merit list will be called for counselling procedure. It will be prepared by the authority on the basis of the candidates performance in the entrance exam and qualifying exam scores.

Osmania University 2025 Cut Off

Candidates will be able to check cut off marks through online mode on the website. Minimum marks that a candidate will be required to secure for admission will constitute Osmania University Cut Off 2025.

Osmania University Counselling 2025 will be the last  procedure for admission. University will organise counselling in month of September 2025 through online mode only. Candidates those will be shortlisted in merit list, will be invited for participation in counselling procedure.

University will provide a counselling letter and rank card by sending an email on the registered ID of candidates. On the basis of merit list and fulfillment of other criterias, seats will be allotted to eligible candidates. Candidates will need to carry the original documents for verification process on the day of counselling.
