NTA has started the UGC NET application correction 2025 process today, 14th May. Candidates who have made mistakes while filling out the form can avail themselves of this facility.
Application form for the UGC NET 2025 June session was released on 16th April, and candidates were allowed to submit it till 12th May 2025.
While filling out the application form, some of the candidates made mistakes, for which the NTA provided a correction facility. The last day to edit the UGC NET application form is 15th May 2025.
The only way to make corrections in the UGC NET application form is via online mode corrections sent by the candidate through Post/ Fax/WhatsApp/Email/by Hand will not be considered by NTA.
Candidates should note that this is a one-time opportunity provided by NTA. Once the UGC NET edit window is closed, no requests will be accepted by the authority.
How to make correction in UGC NET application form?
You can make corrections in UGC NET application form for June 2025 session by following the steps given below:
- Go to the official site of UGC NET (link is given below)
- On the homepage look for “latest news” section.
- Under that, click on the “UGC NET June 2025 Application Correction” link.
- Candidates login portal will appear on screen.
- Enter your application number & date of birth.
- Your UGC NET form will appear on screen.
- Correct & review the form thoroughly.
- Click on the “save & submit” option.
- Download the application form submission page for further use.

All the candidates note that details such as name, contact/address details, category, PwD status, educational qualification details, date of birth, choice of exam cities, etc., mentioned on the UGC NET application form will be treated as final. Also, NTA does not edit /modify/alter any information entered by the candidates under any circumstances.
Only candidates who will be successfully able to submit the UGC NET form will be eligible to take the examination, which will be held from 21st June 2025 to 30th June 2025. Candidates will get 03 hours to complete the exam, and there will be no gap between paper 1 and paper 2.
