GIM Goa Eligibility Criteria 2026

PGDM (Full time courses):

  • Qualifying degree: Student should have Bachelor’s degree from a recognised board or university.
  • Qualifying Marks: Students should have obtained 50% aggregate marks in their Bachelor’s degree.
  • Scores: Students should have appeared/ cleared any of these scores – XAT, CAT, GMAT.

IDA (International Double Degree in Analytics):

  • Qualifying degree: Student should have Bachelor’s degree from a recognised board or university.
  • Qualifying Marks: Students should have obtained 50% aggregate marks in their Bachelor’s degree.
  • Entrance exam score: Students should have appeared in one of following entrance exam – CAT or XAT or GMAT.
  • Students need to submit a ‘Statement of Purpose’ to apply for IDA programme.
  • Age: Applying candidate’s age must not exceed 26 years as on 31st January 2026.
  • English Proficiency Exam: Students should have appeared in one of below English proficiency exam:
    • TOEFL iBT – Minimum score: 100 (TOEFL Code of GIM: D536)
    • Cambridge English Proficiency Exam (CPE): Minimum grade: C
    • Cambridge English Advanced Exam (CAE): Minimum grade: B

GIM Goa 2026 Admission Procedure

Admission procedure in GIM Goa into PGDM courses starts with inviting applications from graduates. Students are then shortlisted purely based on their merit scores in entrance tests. Donation or any kind of payment is not accepted for admission. Then the shortlisted candidates who fulfil eligibility criteria of concerned course are invited for evaluation.

Students should have appeared for any one of these national level entrance test – CAT, XAT, GMAT of the current academic year. Also, interviews are conducted for shortlisted students on the basis of their cut off scores.

What is Achiever’s Round?

Another procedure for admission is through achiever’s round. After getting shortlisted, students who have achievement in specific areas (academics, sports, co-curricular activities & professional experience) go through achiever’s round.

This is a profile based shortlisting round and it applied to all courses based on student’s first preference.

GIM Goa GAAT 2026 Entrance Exam

GAAT (GIM Analytics Aptitude Test) is conducted by Goa Institute of Management in order to access students in areas of Calculus, Progressions, Linear equations, Matrices, and Abstract Reasoning.

The entrance exam is conducted via online mode specifically for PGDM (BDA) course in GIM Goa. It is conducted for a duration of 55 minutes. Paper will contain multiple choice questions.

GIM Goa Result/ Merit List 2026

GIM Goa Merit List will be released of selected candidates who are further selected for admission rounds. Only the students whose name will be mentioned in the final merit list will be provided admission letter.

Selection of the students is done with respect to objective assessment (CAT, XAT, GMAT scores), past academic records, face to face evaluation, work experience (if any), profile assessment diversity/ index.

GIM Goa Counselling/ Interview 2026

Based on the cut off scores obtained in the competitive exams, students will be selected for interview rounds. The interview round will be held through online mode for regular round candidates. However, achiever’s interview centres are located in New Delhi and Goa.

For BIFS, BDA, HCM & IDA courses, candidates are selected on the basis of their overall profile which includes their academic record, performance in entrance exam, work experience.

No stipulated cut off is mentioned for competitive exams. After competing all admission rounds, students will be offered admission letter. Documents are to be provided for verification to complete admission procedure.
