UP NEET Counselling Update: The Director General of Medical Education (DGME) today has started the UP NEET counselling 2025 in online mode.
All candidates who have cleared the NEET UG 2025 examination held on 4th May 2025 are eligible to participate in the counselling process.
However, 78 candidates are not eligible to take part in the state-level or central counselling of Uttar Pradesh for the academic year 2025–26 because they failed to report to their allotted colleges or discontinued their courses during the previous admission cycle (2024–25).

Who is not eligible for UP NEET Counselling 2025
The DGME on 17th July has released a notice titled “Important information regarding being barred from the counselling process of UP NEET UG 2025–26”. As per the notice, a total of 78 candidates are not eligible to take part in the UP NEET counselling 2025 session.
The office notice reads that “As per the policy issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh under reference number 700717/2024, dated 26 July 2024, and as per the instructions in letter number 7 issued by the Directorate General of Medical Education, candidates who were allotted seats in the UG NEET 2024–25 counselling but did not report to the allotted colleges or did not complete admission formalities without valid reasons will be debarred from participating in the UG NEET 2025–26 counselling process.
Such candidates will not be eligible to take part in the state-level or central counselling of Uttar Pradesh for the academic year 2025–26.”
UP NEET Counselling 2025: List of Debarred Candidates
UP NEET Counselling 2025 online registration and document upload began on 18th July 2025. The last date to apply is 28th July 2025 (till 11:00 AM). The deposition of registration fee and security money also started on 18th July and will close on 28th July 2025 (till 2:00 PM).
