IIAD 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for admission in IIAD, make sure you fulfil the eligibility criteria for various:

UG Courses:

• Candidates qualifying 10+2 level or its equivalent in any stream (Science, Humanities/ Arts, Commerce) from any recognised board (CBSE/ ISC/ State/ IB/ Indian or International Higher Secondary Board).
• In 10+2 level, students should have attained minimum aggregate of 50% marks to be eligible.
• Those in final year or awaiting results are also eligible.

PG Courses:

• Graduate candidates in any stream or discipline from a recognised university/ institute can apply.

IIAD 2026 Admission Procedure

Those candidates who will qualify the entrance exam will be able to participate in the IIAD 2026 admission procedure. There will be various factors based on which admission will be given to the candidates. Initially, eligible candidates will have to register themselves through online mode on the website of IIAD. 

Based on the marks scored by the candidates in exam, the authority will prepare a merit list. Admission will be provided based on the interview round and entrance exam scores. To confirm their admission, candidates will have to submit the prescribed amount of application fee. 

IIAD 2026 Entrance Exam

IIAD conducts its own entrance exam to offer admission into various design and management courses. IDAT (IIAD Design Aptitude Test) and IMAT (IIAD Management Aptitude Test) are the entrance exams. It is a written test designed to analyse the creative and visual ability, cultural ability, cultural awareness and logical thinking of candidates.

IDAT paper is a combination of visual tasks, writing tasks, one-word answers and multiple choice questions. iMAT is a written test designed to assess the logical reasoning and creative thinking of candidates. On the completion of IMAT written test, a personal interview will follow.

Exam will be conducted through online and offline mode. Candidates will need to visit IIAD campus – New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai for offline mode exam. 

IIAD 2026 Result

Result of IIAD 2026 will be announced through online mode. It will be released separately for both UG & PG courses. Based on the candidates’ performance in entrance exam and interview, the university will prepare the result. 

Result will be accessible by entering the login credentials such as application number and password. It will consist of the total marks of the candidates scored in entrance exam  & other related information. It is suggested to keep the hardcopy of result safe for further usage in admission. 

IIAD 2026 Counselling

Shortlisted candidates in IIAD 2026 exam will be eligible to participate in selection procedure. There will be two rounds in selection process i.e, IIAD Aptitude Test and Personal Interview/ Portfolio Assessment. Final admission will be given to the candidates after clearing both the rounds of admission. Admission letters will be given to the candidates after they qualify all the rounds.
