CBSE Scholarship 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education has today released a notice regarding the CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme.
Aim of the CBCBSE Merit Scholarship for Single Girl Child students is to provide financial support to girls. The scheme also includes renewals for students who were awarded the scholarship in 2024.
All the candidates are required to go through the complete guidelines for CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Children Class X 2025 before applying.
As per the notice, eligible students for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2025 must have scored 70% or more in CBSE Class X (2025) and should currently be studying in Class XI or XII at a CBSE-affiliated school.
The tuition fees for the school must not exceed Rs. 2,500 per month in Class XI and Rs. 3,000 per month in Class XII, while for NRI students, the maximum allowable fee is Rs. 6,000 per month.
Only Indian nationals are eligible, and scholars can also avail themselves of other concessions offered by their school or other organizations. The annual gross parental or family income should be up to Rs. 8 lakh. Students who were awarded the Single Girl Child Scholarship in 2024 are eligible to apply for renewal.
The scholarship is granted based on merit, according to CBSE Class X results, and aims to support girls from diverse backgrounds in continuing their academic journey.

- Click on the “Main Website” option.
- You will enter the homepage, scroll down.

- You will be redirected to a new page.
- Click on the first link.
- Now, select your Scholarship and tap on the “Apply Now” link.
- Enter the required details and attach the document.
- Submit your form and save a copy for further use.
