Candidates can check section below to know NUCAT 2026 application form details: 

• Candidates can submit the application form through online mode, no offline option is available. 
• NUCAT 2026 application form has been released for various UG & PG level courses. 
• Before submitting the form, candidates must fulfil the complete eligibility criteria below. 
• During form filling, enter the details such as personal, academic qualification, communication details, etc. 
• Complete the process by uploading the scanned documents such as photograph & signature in prescribed format & size. 
• University does not provide any correction facility after submission of form, so candidates must be careful during form filling. 
• The deadline to submit the registration form is till 9th February 2026 for NUCAT Test 1. 
• Do not forget to take a hardcopy of the application form for further usage in the admission process. 

Application Fee: 

• Candidates can submit the application fee through online mode. 
• Rs. 1000/- is the registration fee to apply for the exam. 
• Online facility such as debit card/ credit card/ net banking/ UPI are available. 
• Once paid, application fee cannot be refunded under any circumstances. 

NUCAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech Courses: 

• Qualification: To be eligible, candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent from a recognised board. 
• Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must obtain at least 50% marks in aggregate (40% marks for reserved category) to apply. 
• Subject: Candidates must have Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science/ English as a mandatory subject in class 12th level. 
• Age Limit: Applying candidates must have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December 2026. 
• Appearing: Those appearing candidates in class 12th exam will also be eligible to apply for admission. 

MBA Course: 

• Qualification: Applying candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. 
• Marks: In qualifying exam candidates must have scored at least 60% marks in aggregate. 
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation will also be eligible to apply for admission. 

MCA Course: 

• Qualification: Applying candidates must have BCA/ B.Sc IT/ B.Com/ BA degree with Mathematics from a recognized university. 
• Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates must score a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible. 
• Appearing: Candidates appearing for final year of graduation can also apply. 

NUCAT 2026 Admission Procedure

The admission procedure of NUCAT 2026 is organised through online mode. It has been started with the release of application. Eligible candidates can fill out the application form for a particular course via online mode. Based on university level entrance exam scores, university provides admission to eligible candidates. 

Candidates can get admission into B.Tech courses based on NUCAT entrance exam scores. Based on NEET entrance exam scores, admission to medical and dental courses will be offered by the university. 

NUCAT 2026 Entrance Exam (NUCAT)

To provide admission into various courses, NITTE university conducts its own entrance exam called NUCAT. Basically, the NUCAT exam will be held to provide admission into various courses including the B.Tech course. This exam is conducted at university level. 

NUCAT (NITTEE Common Admission Test) is conducted through online mode. The university conducts the NUCAT exam three times in a year. A total of 2 hours is given to the candidates to solve the exam. Multiple Choice questions are asked in the entrance exam. In the question paper, a total of 120 questions will be asked. 

NUCAT 2026 Result/ Merit List 

Candidates will be able to access their NUCAT 2026 result through online mode. It will be released on 30th May 2026 for Phase 1 on the website. In the form of a merit list, the NUCAT 2026 result will be announced. It will consist of the name of candidates, marks obtained in exam, signature, & other details.

Those qualified candidates in the entrance exam will be eligible to participate in further admission procedure. A separate merit list will be published by the university for different courses. Candidates will get admission in various offered courses based on merit list. 

NUCAT 2026 Counselling 

Counselling procedure of NUCAT 2026 will be conducted through offline mode only. It will be organized for qualified candidates only. After releasing the final merit list on the website, a counselling process will be conducted from 6th June 2026 (JEE). Those shortlisted candidates for counselling will be able to download their counselling letter from the website. 

Letter will be downloaded by entering the login credentials in the given space. Candidates shortlisted in the entrance exam will be called to participate in further admission process. For verification purpose, candidates will be required to carry their original and photocopy of required documents. After verifying the documents, admission will be provided to the candidates.
