NEET PG Exam Update: With the release of the NBEMS Exam Calendar 2026, confusion has increased among medical aspirants as the schedule does not include any mention of the NEET PG 2026 examination.
On 29th December 2025, the exam calendar was released, announcing the schedule for the NBE conducted examination.
The calendar lists dates for several major medical exams, but the absence of NEET PG 2026 has raised concerns, leading many candidates to search for clarity on whether the exam will be conducted next year.
Aspirants were expecting at least a tentative update or a “to be announced” note in the 2026 calendar, but NEET PG 2026 is missing entirely.
Why NEET PG 2026 Is Missing From the NBE Calendar
In the NBEMS Exam Calendar 2025, NEET PG was clearly listed, even though the exact exam date was not announced at that time. The calendar mentioned “NEET PG 2025 – to be announced in due course,” which reassured candidates that the exam would be held and that details would be shared later.
However, the 2026 exam calendar is different. NEET PG 2026 is not mentioned anywhere in the list, not even with a “to be announced” note. This has led candidates to think whether the exam will be delayed, announced separately, or follow a revised schedule.
Till now, no official details from NBEMS regarding the NEET PG 2026 exam date have been provided. In previous years, NBEMS has sometimes released NEET PG updates separately from the main calendar. So, the absence of NEET PG 2026 in the calendar does not automatically mean the exam will not be held.
Last year, NEET PG 2025 was earlier scheduled for June 15, 2025, but it was postponed following directions from the Supreme Court to ensure better security arrangements and availability of more test centres, and was then conducted successfully by the NBEMS on 3rd August 2025 in a single shift in computer-based mode.
