Eligibility norms of Punjabi University 2026 is mentioned below: 

For B.Tech Courses: 

• Qualification: Applying candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognized board to be eligible. 
• Marks: Candidates must obtain at least 50% aggregate marks and 45% marks for SC/ST category candidates. 
• Subjects: In qualifying exam, candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & English as a mandatory subject. 
• Scores: Applying candidates must have valid scores in JEE Main exam. 

For BBA Course: 

• Qualification: To be eligible, candidates are required to qualify class 12th from a recognized board. 
• Marks: In qualifying exam, aspirants must secure minimum 50% aggregate marks and 45% marks for SC/ST category candidates.

For M.Tech Courses: 

• Qualification: Applying candidates must be graduated in a B.Tech/B.E course from a recognized university/ institute to be eligible. 
• Marks: Candidates need to secure 60% marks and 55% marks for reserved category candidates to apply. 
• Scores: To be eligible for admission, candidates must have a valid GATE score.

For MBA Course: 

• Qualification: One must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/ institute to apply.
• Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates must score 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category candidates). 
• Scores:  Candidates can get admission based on merit rank. 

Punjabi University 2026 Admission Procedure 

Admission procedure of Punjabi University 2026 will be organized through online mode. It will be conducted for shortlisted candidates only. Candidates will have to fill the registration form online to participate in the admission procedure. Applicants will need to appear for the screening procedure after completing the application process. There will be a comprehensive assessment for eligibility and selection criteria in the screening phase. 

Those shortlisted candidates in process will be called for discussions regarding executive experience. The personal interview will be the final stage of the selection process. Final admission will be given to those candidates who will clear the personal interview round. 

Punjabi University 2026 Merit List 

Punjabi University 2026 merit list will be released through online mode. Candidates will be able to access the merit list in August 2026. Based on the candidate’s performance in the qualifying exam or national level entrance exam, the university will prepare a merit list. 

Those shortlisted candidates in merit list will be called for further counselling & admission rounds. Candidates must keep the hardcopy of the result safe for further usage in the admission procedure. 

Punjabi University 2026 Counselling 

Those shortlisted candidates in merit list will be eligible to participate in Punjabi University 2026 counselling procedure. Candidates will be able to participate through online mode. In the month of September 2026, counselling procedures will be organised.

Seats will be allocated to the candidates based on the candidate’s rank in the merit list. To confirm the seats, aspirants will have to submit the fee within a prescribed period of time. Candidates will have to report to the university to confirm their admission. Final seats will be allocated to the candidates after verifying the original documents.
