Dhirubhai Ambani University formerly DAIICT is named after the founder of Reliance Group, late Dhirubhai Ambani. Candidates can get admission into various undergraduate, postgraduate & PhD courses in the field of Engineering, Science, & other streams & the flagship courses are B.Tech and MSc.

Admission will be provided based on merit list & other entrance exam scores such as JEE Main & GUJCET. For all India candidates, JEE Main scores will be mandatory to apply & for Gujarat candidates, candidates can apply through GUJCET scores for UG courses. For PG courses, candidates can also apply through GATE scores. It has been accredited with A+ grade by NAAC & has approval from UGC and AIU.

DAIICT 2026 Eligibility Criteria 

Details related to DAIICT 2026 eligibility criteria is mentioned below: 

For B.Tech Programme: 

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed in the final examination of 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board will apply. 
• Subjects: In the qualifying exam, candidates must have Mathematics, Physics and any one of Chemistry/ Bio technology/ Computer Science/ Biology to apply. 
• Marks: To be eligible, candidates must have passed with minimum percentage of  marks as prescribed by the AICTE (as per AICTE norms, 45% marks must be scored by general category & 40% marks for reserved category). 
• Age Limit: Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st October 2000 will be eligible. 
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in 2026 will be eligible to apply for consideration of provisional admission. 

For M.Tech Programme (Machine Learning & Software Systems):

 GATE Qualified candidates: 

• Qualification: Applying candidates with a qualifying degree in any one of the following i.e BE/BTech (CS/IT/EL, ECE, Electrical, Instrumentation), M.Sc degree in Computer Science/ Electronics/ Mathematics/ Statistics, M.Sc of DA-IICT, MCA to apply. 
• Marks: The aggregate marks in qualifying degree should not be less than 60% or equivalent as per the norm set by the degree awarding institute/ university. 
• Age Limit: There will be no age limit set by the authority to apply. 

Non-GATE Candidates: 

• Qualification: To be eligible, candidates must have M.Sc (CS), MCA, BE/ BTech (CS, IT, CSE, ECE, Instrumentation) to apply. 
• Marks: In qualifying degree, candidates should not score less than 65% aggregate marks or equivalent as per the norms set by the degree awarding institute/ university. 
• Age Limit: There will be no age limit set by the authority to apply. 

DAIICT 2026 Admission Procedure 

Admission procedure of DAIICT 2026 will be organized through online mode. Candidates will have to submit the registration form to appear for admission. Before filling the form, candidates must fulfill the complete eligibility norms. 

Admission to B.tech programs will be based on the All India Rank of Joint Entrance Examination 2026 (JEE Main 2026), which is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), Government of India. Therefore, candidates who are appearing for JEE 2026 can only apply for these programs. For those candidates who belong to Gujrat state can apply through GUJCET scores. 

DAIICT 2026 Result/ Merit List 

Merit list of DAIICT 2026 will be announced through online mode. Candidates have to visit the website to access the result. The authority will release the result in the form of a merit list. Candidates will have to use their login details to access the result. A separate merit list will be released by the authority for different courses. 

Those candidates whose name will appear in the merit list will be eligible to participate in further counselling procedure. Candidates must keep the hardcopy of the result safe for future reference in admission. 

DAIICT 2026 Counselling/ Selection Process

After the announcement of the merit list/ result on the website, DAIICT 2026 counselling will be organized. Candidates will be able to appear for counselling through online mode. Those qualified candidates in the merit list will be eligible to appear in the selection procedure.

The shortlisted candidates will be offered admission (confirmed/ waitlisted) in order of their merit (based on the All India Ranking of JEE Main 2026). All India Category candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe will be admitted on relaxed criteria as compared to the general category candidates.

In case some of the reserved seats are not filled in, the unfilled seats will be transferred to the general category. Final selection will be done after verifying the documents & merit list.
