- Qualification: Candidates should have passed class 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board.
- Domicile: Applying candidates must have a domicile certificate of UT of J&K or ST certificate issued by competent authority of UT of Ladakh be treated as Domicile certificate of UT of Ladakh.
- Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must obtain at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates) to apply.
- Subject: To be eligible, one must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as a mandatory subject in qualifying examination.
- Appearing: Those appearing candidates in class 12th in 2026 are also eligible for admission.
