ACAT (Amrita Common Aptitude Test) 2024: Application (Open)
ACAT 2024 Application Form has been released via online mode. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will be the conducting authority of the ACAT 2024 examination. Earlier, it is called as AMET examination but from 2024 it renamed as ACAT examination. Admission is offered into MBA programs at Amravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore campuses. ACAT stands for Amrita Common Aptitude Test. For admission, the scores of MET, CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, KMAT, GMAT, GRE will also be accepted by the authority along with the ACAT 2024 exam. The authority will conduct the ACAT 2024 examination in the month of January 2024. It is mandatory for the candidates to fill out the application form to appear for the exam.

ACAT 2024 Application Form
Candidates can go through the given section to know the details related to the ACAT 2024 application form:
- It is mandatory for the candidates to fulfill the eligibility criteria before proceeding to fill the application form.
- The authority has released the ACAT 2024 application form from 27th September 2023.
- Candidates can fill the application form through online mode only, no other mode is provided to the candidates.
- At the time of filing the form, candidates must fill the details such as personal, academic qualification, and other asked information in the form.
- Candidates must be careful while filling the application form, as the wrong details will be rejected by the authority.
- Documents such as Photograph, Signature and other required documents will be required to upload in the form.
- The last date to submit application form is till 26th February 2024.
- To avoid rejection of the application form, candidates must revisit the filled details of the application form.

Application Fee:
- Rs. 1500 + GST is the application fee of ACAT 2024 exam.
- Application fee can be submitted through online mode only.

How to Apply for ACAT 2024

- Step-3: Fill the asked information such as personal, academic, and other in the form.
- Step-4: After filling the details, upload the requisite documents in the specific format.
- Step-5: Submit the prescribed amount of application fee to complete the process.
- Step-6: Recheck the details in the application form and submit the form.
- Step-7: Take a hardcopy of the application form for later usage in admission.
ACAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
It will be mandatory to fulfill the given ACAT eligibility criteria before filling the form:
- Qualification: Candidates with a UG degree (10+2+3 pattern) recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) will be eligible.
- Percentage: In class 10th & 12th and in UG program, candidates must score at least 50% marks to apply.
- Rank: A valid scores of ranks in Amrita MET/ CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ KMAT will also be accepted.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in 2024 year will also be eligible to apply for the exam.
Note: The scores of KMAT will be accepted by the Department of Management, Kochi & Amritapuri (Kollam) campuses.
Note: NMAT scores will be accepted by Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore campus.
ACAT 2024 Admission Procedure
The admission will be given to the candidates on the basis of the marks secured in the ACAT 2024 entrance examination. Candidates with the score of CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ MET/ CAMT/ GMAT/ GRE/ KMAT will also be eligible to apply for the admission. There will be Personal Interview (PI) round to shortlist the candidates for the admission.
Through email & SMS, the authority will inform the candidates regarding PI dates. Candidate’s written, GK, communication skills and overall personality skills will be tested by the authority during Personal Interview (PI) round. Selected candidates in the PI round will get offer letter through email & SMS. It is suggested to the candidates to check their email and SMS daily to stay updated.
ACAT 2024 Entrance Exam
The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will conduct the Amrita ACAT 2024 entrance examination on 2nd & 3rd March 2024. Only those candidates who have submitted the application form before the last date are eligible to appear in the exam. The ACAT 2024 entrance exam will be conducting through Computer Based Test (CBT) across India. Candidates will be given total 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes) to solve the question paper. Total 100 questions will be asked in the test.
Verbal Reasoning & Language Comprehension, Data Interpretation & Analysis, General Knowledge on Indian & Global Scenarios and Quantitative Aptitude will be four topics asked in the ACAT 2024 test. Each topic consists with the 25 questions in the exam. For each correct answer, 3 marks will be given, and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
ACAT 2024 Result
The authority will publish the ACAT 2024 (Amrita Common Aptitude Test) result in the last week of March 2024. Candidates will be able to download their result through online mode. Login credentials such as application number and password will be required to access the result from the website.
The authority will also release a merit list on the basis of the marks secured in the exam. It will consist with the details such as qualifying marks, candidate’s name, marks, percentage, etc. Qualified candidates in the exam will be able to participate in the counselling process. Admission will be given to the candidates based on the secured scores.
ACAT 2024 Counselling
Those qualifying candidates in the exam will be able to participate in the ACAT 2024 counselling procedure. it will be organized by the authority through online mode only. Personal Interview (PI) will be mandatory for all the candidates. Every shortlisted candidate will have to participate in the counselling process to get admission.
Regarding the date and time of the PI round, the authority will inform the candidates through email & SMS. It will be mandatory for the candidates to submit the admission fee online before the deadline given by the university.
