Delhi University 2026 Application Form

Aspirants must be careful while filling the Delhi University Application Form 2026 and follow the given instructions:

  • Eligible candidates will be able to fill registration form for Delhi University 2026 through online mode.
  • Application form will be commenced from first week of February 2026 through CUET UG & from December 2025 for CUET PG.
  • Only eligible candidates will need to fill registration form, in case of any discrepancy form will be rejected.
  • Candidates must read all the instructions & eligibility before applying.
  • Fill application form with details i.e. educational qualifications, personal, communicational, course, category etc.
  • After filling all the necessary details, upload required documents including photograph, signature & certificates in prescribed format.
  • Correction window will also be opened by the authority to make changes in incorrect details.
  • Delhi University Registration Form will be submitted till third week of March 2026 through CUET UG.
  • For PG courses through CUET PG, application form will be filled till January 2026.
  • Candidates must take printout of the registration form and keep it secure for further procedure.

  • Application fee will be paid via online mode. Candidates will be able to use debit card/ credit card/ net banking for online payment.
  • No payment will be received through any offline mode.
  • Fee will be non-refundable in nature.

Steps to Apply for Delhi University 2026

Get steps below to apply for Delhi University 2026:

  • Step-1: Visit the Delhi University website (link will be given here).
  • Step-2: Provide basic details & register on the website as a new candidate.
  • Step-3: A system generated user ID will be sent to the registered email ID/ mobile number.
  • Step-4: Click on the login button and provide user ID & password.
  • Step-5: Complete application process by filling asked details.
  • Step-6: Upload required documents including photograph in correct format.
  • Step-7: Pay the registration fee using online payment gateways & then submit the application form.
  • Step-8: Take printout of the application form for further usage.

Delhi University 2026 Application Correction

Correction window will be opened from first week of April 2026 for UG courses. Authority will provide correction facility to those candidates who have done mistakes in their application form. Correction will be done through online mode using login details i.e. application number or date of birth.

Authority will not accept corrections through post/ fax or any other offline mode. Candidates are advised to make correction in details within a given time period. No correction will be done after the last date. Also, take printout of the Delhi University application form after making correction in wrong details.

Delhi University 2026 Eligibility

Before registering for the Delhi University 2026, candidates must full fill the below mentioned eligibility criteria:

UG Courses:

B.Tech:

  • Qualification: 12th passed candidates will be eligible to apply for exam.
  • Marks Criteria: In the qualifying exam, candidates must secure 60% marks.
  • Subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English will be the mandatory subjects that candidates must have in 12th level.
  • Appearing: Candidates those are appearing in 12th or equivalent class, will be eligible to apply.

BA (Hons.):

  • Qualification: Aspirants must pass Intermediate or equivalent exam to be eligible.
  • Marks Criteria: In 12th level, candidates must secure 75% marks.
  • Appearing: Candidates those are appearing 12th class will also be able to apply.

PG courses:

MCA:

  • Qualification: Graduate candidates will be able to apply for MCA courses.
  • Marks Criteria: In order to be eligible, candidates must have 60% marks in their graduation.

For Other PG courses:

  • Qualifications: Candidates those are having Bachelor’s degree will be eligible to apply.
  • Marks Criteria: Candidates must have obtained 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST) in their qualifying exam.
  • Appearing: Final year appearing candidates will also be eligible to apply.

Delhi University 2026 Exam Pattern

In this section, aspirant can check exam pattern for Delhi University 2026:

  • Mode of Exam: Examination will be conducted in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode.
  • Language: Question paper will be available in English Language for PG & for UG, it will be available in 13 languages.
  • Question Type: Question paper will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
  • Number of Questions: 100 questions will be available in question paper.
  • Marking Scheme:  5 marks for CUET-UG & 4 Marks for CUET-PG will be awarded for correct response.
  • Negative Marking: For every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

Delhi University 2026 Admit Card

Admit card will be accessed by the aspirants via online mode. Authority will release Delhi University admit card from February/ March 2026 for CUET PG & first week of May 2026 for CUET UG. Hall ticket will be downloaded by the aspirants using login credentials. Check the details carefully printed on admit card i.e. examination date, exam centre, subject code etc.

Admit card will be the important document that candidates will need to retain till the admission procedure. On the day of exam, candidates must carry admit card with one valid ID proof. Take printout of the admit card & keep it safe for admission references.

Delhi University 2026 Answer Key

Delhi University answer key will be released after few days the conduct of exam. Candidates will be able to get answer key from fourth week of May 2026 for UG courses. It will be published via online mode in PDF format. With the help of answer key, candidates will be able to get an estimate idea about their marks.

If candidates found any objection against the answer key, then they will be able to raise objections. Authority will release final answer key of DU, after accepting all the objections. Candidates must keep answer key PDF safe for future references.

Delhi University 2026 Result

Delhi University Result 2026 will be declared through online mode. It will be published in April 2026 for CUET-PG & first week of June 2026 for CUET-UG. To check the result, candidates must have their login ID and password. Result will be prepared by the authority based on the mark scored by them in exam.

Authority may also provide re-evaluation facility. Candidates those are not satisfied with their mark, can apply for re-evaluation by paying a non-refundable fee. Authority will release merit list for different categories, based on the result. Based on the merit list, authority will shortlist candidates for admission.

Delhi University 2026 Cut Off

Cut off of Delhi University will be the minimum marks that candidates have to secure in exam. DU Cut Off 2026 will be released through online mode. It will be made available few days after or within the result. Candidates those will obtain equal or above than the cut off marks will be eligible for admission.

Various affiliated institutes will released separate cut off for DU, based on the CUET normalized scores. Candidates having below than the cut off marks will be considered ineligible for admission. Factors that influence cut off will be category of candidates, total seats available, previous year’s cut off trends etc.

Delhi University 2026 Counselling

Delhi University Counselling 2026 will be commenced from second week of June 2026. Candidates those have qualified the examination, will need to register themselves for Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). Counselling procedure will be done in various steps i.e. registration, seat allocation, document verification etc.

Shortlisted candidates will be eligible to get admission in Delhi University & its affiliated colleges. Seat allotment process will be done in multiple rounds & it will depend on various factors i.e. candidate’s position in merit list, combination of colleges & courses chosen by the candidates, reservation criteria etc. Based on the allotted seats, candidates will need to report to the allotted college with their original & photocopied documents.
