AILET Admission Procedure 2023 (Started), Counselling – Check
AILET 2023 Allotment List (merit list) has been released on 31st July 2023. AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) is a national level examination managed by the National Law University (NLU), Delhi. This exam is organised for candidates who want to get admission to the BA LLB, LLM, Ph.D. & PG Diploma courses. After qualifying this exam, candidates gets admission in the NLU, Delhi & its affiliated colleges. In this article, we have updated detailed information about AILET Admission Procedure 2023.
AILET Counselling 2023 – 9th Allotment List Released
AILET 2023 Ninth Allotment List (Merit List) has been released on 31st July 2023 for BA LLB (Hons.). Also fourth allotment list is available for LLM course. Click here to view merit list.
Candidates must get admission in different courses on the basis of the rank secured in the examination. AILET 2023 Admission Procedure begins only after the declaration of the result.
The university has released the first merit list of selected candidates along with the result. Candidates, those who qualify in the examination will get their admission letter through email & speed post.
Qualified candidates have to deposit their admission/depositing fee at the university to confirm their admission. Candidates must submit the admission-cum-counseling fee before last date. Otherwise, candidate’s admission gets cancelled.
After the fee deposition procedure, the university conduct the interview round for the selected candidates.
AILET 2023 Admission Procedure
After completion of the first slot, the university will release another list of qualified candidates for spot counselling only if seats remain vacant.
The counselling has been started from 20th December 2022. It is organized in various rounds. Seats has been allotted to candidates on the basis of rank, choices filled and availability of seats.
This counselling is valid only for those candidates whose name is in the waiting list category. Selected candidates have to deposit their admission fee before the due date to confirm their seats.

Seat Distribution
There will be approx 80 seats for BA LLB courses. 70 seats will be filled through AILET merit & remaining 10 seats will be reserved for direct admission to Foreign Nationals. For LLM course, there will be around 40 seats out of which 35 seats will be filled through AILET & 5 seats are reserved for Foreign Nationals. For PH.D courses, there are only 5 seats. Documents required at the time of Admission/Counselling
Candidates must carry documents along with self-attested photocopies at the time of AILET 2023 Counselling/Admission. The list of documents required for verification is given below:

I thought there were 70 seats for LLM ?
