AIPVT 2023 Stray Round Counselling Registration has been started from 27th October 2023. Admission Process is organised by Veterinary Council of India. It is a national level admission procedure commenced every year. AIPVT exam is replaced by National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET). It offers admission to the candidates those who wish to get admission in B.V.Sc. and A.H degree courses. The admission procedure into veterinary courses is now offered on the basis of candidates performance in the NEET UG examination. The duration of B.V.Sc. and A.H. degree course is five and half years which includes compulsory Internship of one year period. • Candidates who want to apply for the examination can apply through online mode. There will be no offline application form.
• The application form of AIPVT 2023 will be started from first week of March 2023.
• Fill all the details in the application form which include personal, academic, address and other details.
• The registration process for counselling round will be opened only one time.
• The last date to submit the application form will be till second week of April 2023.
• Upload scanned passport size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
• Application correction will be started from third week of April 2023.
• Take the printout of the application form for future reference.

• The application fee will be submitted through online mode.
• The application fee payment gateway through Credit card, Debit card, and net banking.

• Step-2: On home page, a link for registration will be available.
• Step-3: After clicking on the link, candidates will have to enter their email id and mobile number.
• Step-4: Candidates have to fill the application form with details like academic, personal, and qualifications.
• Step-5: Upload the scanned images and signature according to given prescribed format.
• Step-6: Candidates need to pay the application fee through online mode.
• Step-7: Take the printout of the application form for future reference.

AIPVT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for AIPVT exam before applying:

• Nationality: Candidates should be Indian citizen.
• Overseas citizen of India/ Person of India origin: The overseas OCI/ PIO will also be eligible for online registration for counselling for admission to BV.Sc. and A.H. courses under the 15% quota.
• Age limit: The candidates must have attained minimum age of 17 years as on 31^st December, 2023.
• Qualification: The candidates must have passed the qualifying examination 12^th with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English.
• Exam: The candidates should have qualified NEET (UG) 2023.

AIPVT 2023 Selection Process

The selection of candidates is based on NEET UG 2023 merit list. There is no entrance test, authorities chooses candidates based on their performance in the NEET examination.

The admission is offered in the A.H. courses and BVSc. Courses. Only those candidates get admission who secures a good rank in the NEET examination. The admission of candidates to BVSc and AH degree course is on the basis of their merit and the ranking in the Merit list of NEET- UG 2023.

AIPVT 2023 Reservation of Seats

Reservation is applicable to the castes mentioned in the Central list of OBC. The candidates failing in this category may mention OBC in the category column in the application form.

• 15% seats are reserved for SC candidates.
• 5% seats are reserved for ST candidates.
• 10% seats are reserved for EWS candidates.
• 27% seats are reserved for OBC candidates.

AIPVT 2023 Counselling

The online counselling for admission to B.V.Sc and AH degree courses under 15% seats in recognized Veterinary Colleges on All India basis is conducted by VCI through NIC.

The seat are allotted in the colleges based on the availability of seats, candidates NEET rank and the choice exercised by the candidates subjects to fulfillment of other criteria, nationality, age, essential qualification, etc. The seat allotment can be done in respect of recognised Veterinary Colleges (both Government and Private) in India.

The eligibility criteria and the documents of the candidate shall be verified by the allotted college/ university at the time of his/ her reporting/ admission and the decision of the college/ university in the matter shall be final.

The candidate allotted seat in the first round of counselling and reports for admission within schedule dates have an opportunity for up graduation by exercising re-choice filling in the second round of counselling. In the case of seat allotted in Round 2, the seat allotted earlier in Round 1 stand cancelled.

AIPVT 2023 Admission

After the counselling process, candidates must visit the allocated colleges. It is compulsory for candidates to carry allotment letter and other important documents while visiting the allotted college.

Candidates must reach the college on time otherwise they might lose their seats under 15% all India quota. Authorities will verify the documents of all the candidates at the college as well. The seat are confirmed only after documents verification and payment of admission fee.

• Class 10^th Mark sheet and certificate
• Class 12^th Mark sheet and certificate
• Copy or NEET 2023 and AIPVT 2023 application forms
• NEET 2023 Rank card
• NEET 2023 Admit card
• ID Proof of the candidate such as Voter ID, Aadhar card, Passport, Ration card
