AKTU/ UPTU (UPCET) 2022: UG Counselling (Started), Merit List, Result
AKTU /UPTU 2022 Counselling Registration (through CUET UG Scores) has been started from 6th October 2022. Result has been declared for CUET PG/ UG. AKTU/ UPTU is also known now as UPSEE (UPCET) 2022. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, UP every year organizes AKTU/ UPTU entrance test which is also known as UPSEE (UPCET). The state level entrance exam of UPSEE (UPCET) has been scrapped. Now admission into various UG/ PG courses will be through CUET scores. The admissions into B.Tech course is provided only through JEE Main scores. Admission into architecture courses will be through NATA scores. The candidates successfully qualifying this exam will be provided admission into various government/ private institutions/ colleges located in U.P state. AKTU/ UPTU 2022 Notifications – Counselling Started (CUET based)

AKTU/ UPTU (UPCET) 2022 Exam has been scrapped. Admission into B.Tech will be through JEE Main, B.Arch will be through NATA and into various UG/ PG courses through CUET.

AKTU/ UPTU 2022 Answer Key
The answer key has been available for downloading on 8th September 2022 for UG courses. It will be available paper wise for various sets on the website. The authority will first publish the preliminary answer key and then final answer key. For PG course answer key will release on 16th September 2022.
Also students will have the option of challenging the AKTU/ UPTU answer key in case they find any error. The objection window will be open for few days after which the final answer key will be released.
AKTU/ UPTU 2022 Result
AKTU/ UPTU Result has been published on the website on 16th September 2022. It can be obtained by logging with the provided details on the website. For checking the result, students have to submit their registration number and password.
Along with the result, merit list will be published on the website. Only the students who will be listed in the merit list will be eligible for counselling process.

AKTU/ UPTU 2022 Cut Off
Students have to obtain the cut off prescribed by the authority to qualify the exam. AKTU/ UPTU Cut Off will be released by online mode on the website. Only the students obtaining the cut off marks will be eligible for participation in further counselling process.
As per the cut off trends, students must secure 25% marks (20% marks for ST/ SC candidates) in the exam to qualify it.
AKTU/ UPTU 2022 Counselling
The counselling process has bee started from 17th September 2022 for UG courses. AKTU/ UPTU Counselling will be organised through online mode in various rounds. Students must follow counselling/ seat allotment stages – online counselling registration, payment of counselling fee, choice filling, document verification, etc.
Complete counselling schedule and procedure will be provided on the website after the declaration of results. Students must report at the allotted institutions with their complete documents/ certificates for final admission process.
AKTU/ UPTU 2022 Admit Card
Students will be able to download AKTU/ UPTU Admit card by online mode through the website. It can be downloaded from 28th August 2022 for CUET PG. The admit card contains important instructions for the exam appearing candidates.
Students must go through complete details provided in the hall ticket such as candidate’s name, roll number, application number, password, exam date, exam time, exam venue, reporting time, etc. In case candidates faces any discrepancy while downloading the admit card, they must contact the officials before the exam date.
AKTU/ UPTU 2022 Application Correction
The correction window will be opened from 25th May 2022. Students must make correction through online mode. The link to make AKTU/ UPTU correction will be provided on the website. The correction facility will be available in only some of the details of application.
Candidates must make modifications before the last date of correction period. No request to allow correction in application after last date will be accepted by the authority. Further, incorrect details in application may lead to rejection of form later.
AKTU/ UPTU 2022 Exam Pattern
Students can check below complete AKTU/ UPTU Exam pattern details:
- Mode of Exam: The entrance exam will be held in online CBT mode.
- Papers: The exam will be organized for 8 papers.
- Questions Type: There will be objective type multiple choice questions in the paper.
- Language: The paper will be available in Hindi or English.
- Exam duration: The exam duration will be different for various papers. Some papers will be of 2 hours and others 3 hours.
- Marking Scheme: As per the marking pattern, 4 marks will be awarded for each correct response. No negative marking will be done for incorrect responses.

AKTU/ UPTU 2022 Syllabus
Candidates can check complete AKTU/ UPTU Syllabus through online mode. The complete syllabus can be checked for various papers/ courses on the website. The syllabus prescribed by the board/ authority will be as per the syllabus studied by the candidates in their qualifying exam.
For UG degree courses, the entrance exam syllabus prescribed will be from the Intermediate (12th)/ diploma level syllabus. For the PG courses, the syllabus for entrance exam will be from UG level courses.

AKTU/ UPTU 2022 Eligibility Criteria

General Eligibility:
- Nationality: Candidates who are NRI/ PIO/ Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply. Also, those who are children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries & Kashmiri Migrants can apply.
- Age Limit: No age limit is prescribed for admission.
- Qualification: Candidates applying for UG courses, must have passed 12th level or its equivalent from a recognized board or university. For PG courses, candidates must have done their graduation.
- Appearing: Those students who are appearing for their 12th level are eligible to apply for UG courses. For PG admission, students appearing in the last year of their qualifying degree can apply.
Course Wise Eligibility:
- B.Tech (L.E): Passed 3/ 4 years diploma exam from any recognized institute/ college with minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ ST candidates).
- B.Pharma: Passed 12th level with Physics & Chemistry subjects and any one among Mathematics/ Bio-Technology/ Biology / Technical Vocational subjects with atleast of 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).
- Pharm (L.E): Candidates must have diploma in pharmacy to be eligible to apply.
- BBA: Passed 10+2 level from any recognized board with aggregate of 55% marks (50% for SC/ ST category).
- BFAD/ BFA/ BHMCT/ MBA Integrated: 12th passed with any stream securing 45% marks without grace and 40% for SC/ ST categories.
- MCA/ MBA: Passed Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) candidates. For candidate applying for MCA, must have Mathematics subject at 12th level or Graduation level.
- MCA (L.E): Passed BCA, B.Sc (IT/ Computer Science) with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST).

Is it same for lateral entry too? That they will also only able to get admitted by jee not UPCET

It is written that student will not be able to get admisson to btech by UPCET, they have to apply to jee exam for that.
