AMU 2023 Counselling (Started), UG & PG Admission – Know Here
AMU 2023 Counselling has been started for various UG/ PG courses through online mode. Admission List/ Firm List has been released for various UG/ PG courses. AMU admission procedure is conducted by the Aligarh Muslim University. AMU entrance exam is a university level entrance exam which is organized by Aligarh Muslim University. It offers admission in the field of Medicine, Management Studies, Research Agricultural Sciences, Arts, Commerce, Engineering & Technology, Law, Life Sciences and Unani Medicine Science. The admission to MBBS/BDS seats will be offered through NEET national level entrance exam. In this article, candidates can check the details regarding AMU Counselling 2023.

Note: Candidates applied for admission through CUET UG scores can submit their applications on or before 4th August 2023.

The AMU 2023 counselling procedure has been organised separately for all offered courses by the university. On the availability of the seats, the counselling is conducted in different rounds.
The seats are offered on the basis of candidate’s merit rank in the entrance test. The counselling is conducted through both (online & offline mode) as per the course.
As per the rank, the candidates are invited to participate in the counselling. Candidates have to be present at the counselling venue in person along with the documents required.
AMU Cut Off 2023 is released through online mode. It will be the minimum marks candidates have to score in the exam required for getting admission into UG & PG courses in the University.
The counselling for B.Tech is being conducted through online mode. The counselling procedure includes the online registration, choice filling, document verification, seat allotment and reporting to allotted college.

AMU 2023 Admission Procedure
Online Registration:
After the declaration of merit list, candidates will have to register on the official website for participating in the counselling rounds. The registration will be done through online mode.
Choice filling:
After the registration process, candidates will be asked to choose their preference from the available seats. Candidates will have to choose their preference and lock them.
Document Verification:
The document verification process will be taken place at the allotted venue to the candidate for the verification of documents.
Candidates will have to be present on prescribed date and time as per their ranks at the counselling venue along with the original documents.
Without the document verification process, candidates will not be allowed for further rounds of counselling.
Seat Allotment:
On verification of the documents, the seats will be allotted to the candidates. The allocation of seats will be based on the candidate’s filled choices and their rank.
If candidates will allot the seat then, they will be provided with the provisional seat allotment letter for taking admission in the allotted college.
Reporting to Allotted College:
After the seat allotment process, candidates will have to report to the allotted college with the provisional seat allotment letter for admission.
Fee Submission:
The candidates will have to submit the counselling fee. The fee will be paid in cash or through DD from a Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, AMU Aligarh, payable at Aligarh.
Documents Required for Admission
Candidates must bring the list of documents given below along with two sets of self attested photocopies.
- Hall ticket and rank card of entrance test
- Intermediate or equivalent qualifying exam mark sheet
- Transfer certificate
- Migration certificate
- Character certificate
- 10th class or equivalent exam certificates for proof of date of birth
- 10 recent passport size colour photograph
- Certificates in support of claiming special category
- Admission fee slip or DD, etc.

There is no need to fill separate form if you have already registered.
Is migration and character certificate neccesary for provisonal admission.Can,we submit it after a month.
