Anna University 2024 Application Form has been extended till 15th February 2024. Every year, Anna University holds a university level admission procedure to provide admission to various UG and PG courses. Admission to UG courses depends on the qualifying exam merit list.

For admission into PG course, candidates will have to appear for the TANCET/ CEETA examination. CEETA is conducted for admission into M.Arch, M.Tech, M.Plan courses & TANCET is conducted for MBA and MCA courses. For B.Tech admission, candidates will have to qualify TNEA admission procedure. Candidates can fill the application form through online mode.

Here are some details regarding the Anna University 2024 Application Form:

• The application form has been made available through online mode for PG courses.
• For PG courses, the candidates can fill the Anna University 2024 registration form from 10th January 2024.
• The application form will be available from third week of June 2024 for UG courses.
• Candidates must fill out the required details correctly i.e educational, personal, address and communication information.
• Aspirants have to upload passport size photograph and signature in specific format.
• There will be no correction facility provided after submitting the application form.
• Fill in the correct information to avoid any kind of rejections from the university.
• Print the form and keep a copy of the completed/ printed application form for future references.

Application Fee:

• Aspirants have to pay their application fee through online mode.
• Candidates can pay the application fee through Debit card, Credit card or Net banking.
• The application fee cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

Anna University 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must check the Anna University 2024 Eligibility Criteria below:

For B.Tech Course: 

• Qualification: Candidate those have passed 11th/ 12th class will be eligible to apply.
• Nationality: There will be no need to show Nativity Certificate if candidates have passed 8th to 10th class from Tamil Nadu state.
• Candidates who have passed 8th to 12th level outside Tamil Nadu they will need to show Original Nativity Certificate in electronic form/ digitally signed e-certificate.
• Marks: General candidates should have obtained at least of 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) in their qualifying exam.
• Selection: To get admission, candidates will have to qualify TNEA procedure.

For MBA Courses: 

• Qualification: A passed candidates in Bachelor’s degree from any recognised university/ institute will be able to apply.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in the final year examination of the qualifying exam will also apply for admission.
• Marks: At least 50% marks must be scored by the candidates and 40% marks for SC/ ST/ SCA/ BCM/ MBC candidates belongs to Tamil Nadu in the qualifying exam to be eligible.
• Selection: Candidates will be required to qualify the TANCET examination to apply.

For MCA Course:

• Qualification: Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from any recognised university/ institution.
• Marks Criteria: Candidates should score at least 50% marks (40% marks for the reserved category) in the bachelor’s degree.
• Appearing: Those appearing candidates in the final year of the graduation degree will be eligible to apply.
• Selection: To get admission, candidates will be required to qualify the TANCET examination.

For M.Arch, M.Tech, M.Plan: 

• Qualification: Candidates must be graduated from any recognized institute to be eligible.
• Marks Criteria: Applicants must score 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in their qualifying marks.
• Appearing: The appearing candidates in the final year exam will be eligible to apply.
• Selection: A valid score of CEETA PG will be required to apply for the admission.
