Anna University 2021 Application Form

Candidates should check the details carefully mentioned below to fill the application form.

• Anna University 2021 application has been started from 26th July 2021 for both UG & will be available in July/ August 2021 for PG courses.
• Candidates can fill the application form through online mode.
• Candidates should fill all the details carefully while applying for any course. The details entered can not be modified later on.
• It is mandatory to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature of the candidate.
• Candidates are also required to take the printout of the filled-in application form and keep it till the admission process gets over.

Application Fee:

Candidates can submit the application fee through online mode. They can use credit card/debit card or internet banking. The application fee is mentioned below:

• For Ug Courses: 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST candidates)
• For PG Courses: 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST candidates)

Anna University 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Here, we have given the eligibility criteria for UG & PG courses. Candidates should check them carefully to be eligible for the admission.

For PG Courses:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates should have any Bachelor’s degree from recognized university or institution.
• Minimum Marks: Candidates must passed with minimum of 50% (45% marks for SC/ ST candidates) marks in the qualifying examination.
• Score Card: Candidates those have a valid score card of GATE 2019/ 2020/ 2021 can apply.
• Appearing Candidates: Such candidates can also apply.

For UG Courses:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates should have passed 10th and 12th class from any recognized board.
• Domicile Certificate Candidate should hold the domicile certificate of Tamil Nadu state.
• Minimum Marks: Candidates must secure minimum of 45% (40% for OBC and 40% for SC/ ST candidates) marks in the qualifying exam.
• Appearing Candidates: Such candidates those are appearing in their 12th class can also apply.

Anna University 2021 Exam Pattern

Candidates should check the Anna University exam pattern before appearing in the written entrance examination from below:

• Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through offline mode.
• Exam Duration: 2 hours will be provided to complete the whole examination.
• Type of Question: Questions will of multiple choice questions (MCQ).
• Number of Question: Total 100 questions will be asked in the examination.
• Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each correct response.
• Negative Marking: 1/3 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.

FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions)

Anna University 2021 Admit Card

The admit card will be released in the first week of September 2021 for TANCET entrance exam. Admit card will be released through online mode only. Candidates can download Anna University Admit card for PG course from July 2021.

Candidates have to enter their user ID and password to get their admit card. It will contain the details like name, examination center, exam date, father’s name, roll number and registration number, etc. Candidates are advised do not forget to carry their admit card on the day of examination.

Anna University 2021 Answer Key

The university will release the answer key for its entrance exam in September 2021. Through the answer key candidates will be able to know the correct answers of the question asked in the examination.

Anna University answer key will be released through online mode only. Through the answer key candidates will be able to calculate their rough marks scored in the examination.

Anna University 2021 Result

Anna University result for TANCET will be published in the month of September/ October 2021. Candidates can check their result through online mode by using user ID and password.

Candidates are advised to check the result carefully. If candidates found any discrepancy in result then they can contact to the exam authority.

Anna University 2021 Cut Off

The University will release the Cut off within few days of the examination. Candidates should score the cut off marks to get admission in any course. Candidates can check Anna University Cut off marks through online mode.

The university will prepare the merit list based on the candidate’s marks. Candidates will have to register themselves for the admission after releasing the cut off marks. Only qualified candidates will be called for the counselling process.

Anna University 2021 Counselling

Anna University counselling for TANCET has been started from 22nd August 2021. It will be started from the month of October 2021 for other courses. The seats will be allotted to the candidates based on their marks obtained in the qualifying examination or based on merit list.

Candidates have to download their call letter to attend the counselling. Candidates also have to bring their original documents for verification on the day of counselling. Candidates have to attend the counselling in person.

Without documents verification seat will not be allotted to the candidates. Candidates will have to pay application fee on the day of counselling.

Candidates will have to carry following documents on the day of counselling:

• Class 10th Mark sheet
• Class 12th Mark sheet
• Transfer certificate
• Nativity certificate
• Counselling letter
• Admit card of 12th class
• 2 passport size photographs, etc
