• Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through online CBT mode for PG courses.
• Duration: Total 1 hour will be given to solve the exam.
• Total questions: There will be total 50 questions asked in the exam.

Calcutta University 2024 Admission Procedure

The Calcutta University admission procedure will be based on class 12^th marks for UG courses such as BBA, B.Com, BA, B.Sc. For some courses like B.Tech., the university will accepts the scores of WBJEE for admission.

The admission to the PG courses will be given on the basis of the candidates performance in the qualifying exam. The university will also accept the other national and state level entrance exam too.

Calcutta University 2024 Entrance Exam

For PG courses, the university itself conducts the university level exam for the admission. There will be no entrance exam for UG courses, admission will be given through WBJEE score and Merit list.

For PG courses, the entrance exam will be conducted through online CBT (computer based test) mode. The exam duration will be of 1 hour to solve the paper. After qualifying the exam successfully, candidates will get admission in various courses such as M.Tech, MA, M.Com, etc.

Calcutta University 2024 Merit List/ Result

The Calcutta University merit list 2024 will be released in the third week of August 2024 for UG courses. The merit list for PG courses will be released in the third week of September 2024. Candidates will be able to check the result through online mode.

Only registered candidates will be able to access the merit list through login into the website. It will be available in the form of PDF. Candidates will be able to download the list to know their ranks for further purpose of admission. To download the result, candidates will have to enter the User ID and password in the online portal. After releasing the merit list, shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling procedure on the basis of the rank.

Calcutta University 2024 Counselling

The counselling procedure of Calcutta University 2024 will be organized on the basis of the merit list. The shortlisted candidates through the merit list will have to attend the counselling rounds. This will be the final stage of the admission procedure. In this process, the seat will be allocated to the shortlisted candidates on the basis of the merit list and option filled by them.
