AP ICET 2024 Result will be declared on 20th June 2024. AP ICET (Andhra Pradesh-Integrated Common Entrance Test) is a common entrance examination conducted at state level once in a year. On behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Shri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur will conduct AP ICET exam. 

Through this exam, qualified candidates will get admission in various professional colleges and universities situated across the Andhra Pradesh State. This exam is conducted for candidates seeking admission in courses like MBA and MCA.

AP ICET 2024 Result

AP ICET 2024 Result will be accessed through online mode. The authority will announce the result in a form of rank card. It will be made available in third week of June 2024.  Candidates will have to visit the online website of AP ICET to check result.

The result/rank card of AP ICET will be downloaded by providing the login credentials such as registration number, ICET Hall ticket number and date of birth. No separate Rank card/result will be sent to candidates individually. Candidates must preserve their rank card till the end of the admission procedures.

How to Download AP ICET 2024 Result

Follow these simple procedures to download AP ICET 2024 Result:

• Go to the online website (link will be available above).
• Click on “Download Rank card” button given on the homepage.
• Login by entering registration number, ICET Hall ticket number and date of birth.
• Then, click on “View Rank Card” button.
• The result of AP ICET 2024 will appear on the screen.
• Now, download the result and must ensure to take  print out of it for further references. 

AP ICET 2024 Rank Card

The AP ICET rank card/result will be made available to candidates on online portal of authority. Candidates will have to enter their login details such as registration number, ICET Hall ticket number and date of birth to view their rank card. 

The candidates must keep their rank card in safe custody to be produced at the time of counselling and further admission procedure. Based on the candidate’s performance in entrance exam, they will be shortlisted for counselling round.

AP ICET 2024 Normalisation Process

The normalisation process is a formula which is adopted for ensuring that candidates are neither advantaged or disadvantaged by difficulty level of examinations conducted in multiple sessions. The normalisation process is used to rank candidates based on global performance. 

SMS is a Sum of Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of the subject of a session in which candidates belongs to: 

• GMS is a Sum of Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of all the candidates of all sessions.
• Top Average Session is an Average marks of to 0.1% of candidates in the session in which candidates belongs to.
• Top Average Global is an Average marks of to 0.1% of all the candidates of all sessions put together.

AP ICET 2024 Merit List

The authority will prepare a merit list of AP ICET 2024 through online mode. The AP ICET 2024 Merit List will be prepared by authority on the basis of marks scored by candidates in entrance examination. 

Candidates will be able to check the merit list after the declaration of result. Candidates will get shortlisted for counselling and admission procedure based on AP ICET 2024 Merit list.

AP ICET 2024 Tie-Breaking Criteria

In the event of a tie between two or more candidates, then merit rank of candidates will be determined by resolving the tie using the given tie- breaking criteria:

• Scores obtained in Section-A of AP ICET 2024 will be considered
• If a tie still remains, marks obtained in Section-B of AP ICET 2024 will be considered.
• If a tie- still remains, age will be taken into consideration at the time of admission for the purpose of ranking

AP ICET 2024 Cut Off

The authority of AP ICET is set 25% (i.e, 50 out of 200) as the minimum qualifying percentage. The candidates will have to score more than or equal to 25% marks in order to get selected for admission. 

There is no minimum qualifying set by the authority for SC and ST  category candidates. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories will be ranked in order of merit on the basis of marks obtained in AP ICET 2024.

AP ICET 2024 Counselling

The AP ICET 2024 Counselling will be held after the declaration of result in the July 2024. The candidates seeking admission in AP ICET 2024 exam are informed that the counselling process will be done through online mode. 

Those qualified candidates shortlisted in the merit list will be called for the counselling process. The selection of candidates and allotment of colleges will be on the basis of rank secured in the entrance examination.
