JIPMER MBBS 2025 (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Institute and Research for MBBS) is a national level admission procedure organised for admission to MBBS degree programme. Earlier, JIPMER was conducting its own entrance exam, which has been scrapped. Now, admission will be offered on the basis of National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET), which is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). It will be mandatory for candidates to appear for NEET exam to get admission into MBBS programme at JIPMER campuses located in Puducherry and Karaikal.

JIPMER MBBS 2025 Correction

The limited period of time will be given for registered candidates to rectify errors during the correction window after the initial form submission. The correction facility will allow candidates to rectify or update specific details of their submitted application from. Candidates will be able to make corrections in form in fourth week of March 2025.

The corrections in particulars of application form will be modified through online mode only by using login credentials. Candidates must note that details provided like name, email ID, parent’s name, gender, mobile number etc, during the registration process will not be rectified during the correction window.

JIPMER MBBS 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for JIPMER MBBS 2025 must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

• Nationality: Applying candidates must be an Indian National/OCI/PIO/foreign national.
• Age Limit: The lower age requirement will be of 17 years as on 31st December 2025.
• Qualification: One must have completed their 12th standard or equivalent from any recognised board. 
• Subjects: Candidates must have  Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology along with English as compulsory subjects in their qualifying examination.
• Appearing: Applicants appearing for Class 12th examination in the admission year will also be eligible to apply.

• Click on “New Registration” tab from the homepage.
• For registration, enter basic & communication details such as name, guardian’s name, date of birth, phone number, email ID etc.
• Through OTP, generate an application number and password.
• Login to portal and proceed to fill the online application form.
• To fill the application form, provide details like personal, qualification and address details.
• Select any three exam center cities in order of preferences.
• Upload scanned image of photograph, signature and thumb impressions as per the given instructions.
• Before final submission, recheck all the details entered in application form.
• Now, proceed to make payment of application fee applicable as per your category.
• After rechecking the details, press the “Submit” button. 
• A confirmation page will be displayed on the screen.
