Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) is a national level design aptitude test. It is conducted to provide admission into Master of Design (M.Des) courses.

Admission will be provided into various renowned institute such as IIT Bombay, IISC Bangalore, IIT Guwahati, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IITDM Jabalpur, IIT Hyderabad, etc. As per the test/ interview or admission/ selection procedure set by institute, the final selection/ admission will be provided.

• IIT, Bombay will start CEED 2025 registration procedure from the first week of October 2024.
• Candidates will have to submit the form using online facility, as there will be no offline method
• Firstly start with the registration procedure by entering basic information such as name, personal details, etc.
• Now start filling application form with details such as personal details, academic qualification, communication details,
• It will be mandatory for applicants to fulfil complete eligibility criteria once before applying for exam.
• Authority will not provide any correction facility in application form, so candidates must be careful while filling details in form.
• Last date to submit application form will be till second week of November 2024 without late fee.
• It is advised to re-check the filled in information once before submitting the form to avoid rejection.
• Do not forget to take a hardcopy of filled in form for further usage in admission procedure.

Application Fee:

• Registration fee will be submitted through online mode
• There will be no offline method provided to submit the fee.
• Online facility such as Credit card, debit card or net banking will be provided to submit fee.
• Once paid, the application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.

• Scanned copy of candidate’s signature on white paper
• Exam certificate of qualifying exam
• Caste certificate
• Recent colored photograph
• High school certificate, etc

CEED 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Applying candidates must have completed minimum degree/ diploma/ PG degree of minimum 3 years (after 10+2 level) to apply.
• Candidates must be appearing for final examination of such programs by July 2025, or must passed GD Arts diploma programmes (10+5 level) by July 2025.
• Age Limit: There will be no age limit to apply for CEED 2025 examination.
• Attempt Limit: Candidates can apply any number of times for exam.

Steps to Apply for CEED 2025

• Go to the website of IIT Bombay (Link will be given above).
• On the homepage, click on the “CEED 2025 New Registration” link.
• Start with the registration procedure by entering the details such as name, valid email ID & mobile number.
• Application number & password will be generated, after registration,.
• Login using allotted details and fill the application form to proceed further.
• Fill the application form with details such as academic qualification, personal details, communicational details, etc.
• Click on the “save & continue” button.
• Complete the procedure by uploading the documents such as photograph & signature in prescribed format.
• Documents must be uploaded in JPG/ JPEG format only.
• The uploaded photograph must not be more than 3-month-old photograph.
• Now start with the payment option using available gateways.
• Submit the fee and recheck all the filled details in the form.
• Press the “Submit” button and proceed further.
• A confirmation page will be generated at the end.
• Take a hardcopy of the form and keep it safe till admission procedure.
