CAT is one of the challenging exam for IIM Aspirant. It is considered one of the difficult exam to crack by the students. But if you make a correct strategy & time schedule, you will definitely be able to succeed to crack this exam.

Understand the Syllabus & Exam Pattern
Before starting preparation, students have to know the CAT exam pattern & syllabus of CAT exam. CAT examination comprises of various sections, students have to manage their time as per the difficulty of each section. To start preparations, students are required to gather all the information about the official CAT syllabus.
Time Management
It is one of the important factors for exam preparation. Students must maintain the right schedule for preparation & study. This will help the students to succeed in the examination. CAT is an aptitude test where students must have conceptual clarity & know the shortcut methods to solve the questions.
Previous Year Question Paper
Apart from studying from books, students should also prepare by solving the previous year question papers. With the help of previous year question paper, student will get to know about detailed information of difficulty level, type of questions etc. You will also know about topics you are stronger or weaker at.
Practice Mock Test

Books & Study Material
Without CAT 2024 books & study materials, students will get puzzled with the wide CAT 2024 syllabus. For better preparations, good books & study materials matters a lot. Students can also take help from the previous year question papers, this will make them familiarize with the exam pattern, type of questions and marking system.
Stay fit and Stress Free
A healthy mind and body are very important for better concentration in exam preparations. Take healthy diet and include fresh vegetables and more fruits in your diet. Avoid junk food any other alcoholic consumption. Do yoga and meditation, it will help you to concentrate better in your exam preparations.
Revision
Candidates will not get enough time for revision because of the lengthy syllabus. Due to lack of time, candidates will forget to revise the important topics. So, it is recommended to start early for preparation. Before the 3 to 4 days of the time of examination, candidates must try to revise the complete syllabus and important topics. Students are advised to keep at least last one week only for revision of topics you had already prepared for.
2 Months CAT Preparation Plan
As candidates are aware, only two months remain until the CAT 2024 exam, which is scheduled for 24th November 2024. Now is the time for students to focus on their last 60 days of exam preparation
- Start going through the revision notes you have made.
- Make a 60 days/ 2 months time table for CAT preparation.
- During this time, focus on taking mock tests, and solving previous year’s papers.
- Go through the study material mostly recommended.
- Work on time management strategies and practice quick answering.
