CEED 2024 Result will be released on 6th March 2024. CEED (Common Entrance Test for Design) is a joint entrance exam for postgraduate courses in the field of technological design. This exam is conducted by IIT Bombay to provide admission into the M.Des (Master of Design) programme. CEED is conducted to select candidates for admission into M.Des and Ph.D programmes which are offered by IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad, IISC Bangalore, IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati and Ph.D programmes at a few institutions.

Students who will qualify the entrance test need to appear for the further tests or interviews. In this article, we have provided the complete details of CEED Result 2024 such as score card, result dates, cut-off, etc.

CEED 2024 Result

The result of CEED 2024 will be made available through online mode. The authority will publish the result after a few days of examination. The result will be declared on 6th March 2024. The result will be displayed for all the candidates who have appeared for the exam.

But the Part A and Part B marks will be displayed only for shortlisted candidates. Candidates will be able to download their result through the candidate portal. Students must take a print out of it and keep it safe for the future.

How to Download CEED 2024 Result

Candidates must follow the given steps to download the CEED result 2024:

• Visit the online website (Link will be given above).
• Click on the CEED 2024 result.
• Login by entering required details such as registration ID, date of birth or email ID and password.
• Click on the Submit button.
• The result will appear on the screen.
• Download the result from the website.
• Take a print out of the result and keep it safe for further admission process.

CEED 2024 Score Card

The score card of CEED 2024 will be released on 11th March 2024. Candidates who have appeared for the entrance exam will be able to download the scorecard from online website. It will be made available through online mode. To download the score card, students need to enter their respective login details.

Candidates will not be able to download the score card after 12th June 2024. The authority will not send score cards to the candidates individually. The CEED 2024 score card will not be treated as a proof of a date of birth, category or disability status.

CEED 2024 Merit List

The merit list will be prepared as per the candidates category. It will be announced after the declaration of the result. The CEED merit list will consist of two parts i.e. final drawing list and waiting list.

Candidates whose names will appear in the final drawing list will be allocated seats through counseling. The remaining seats will be filled through wait list candidates.

CEED 2024 Tie Breaking Criteria

If two or more students have secured the same marks in the CEED 2024 exam, then the authority will provide marks according to tie-breaking criteria.

For breaking the tie, authority will determine the marks of the candidates in different subjects, rank of the aspirant, age of the aspirant, category, etc. Firstly, the authority will consider the marks of the candidates scored in the examination.

CEED 2024 Cut Off

The cut off of CEED 2024 will be announced on 8th February 2024. The cut off marks will be released by the authority for the shortlisted candidates. It will be released in two sections – i.e. part A and part B. The cut off marks are the minimum marks which must be scored by the candidates to get admission to their aspiring programmes.

Part A – Those qualified in CEED 2024 Part A and want to be shortlisted for Part B, then candidates will need to score minimum qualifying marks as given below:

• Open category- 10%
• OBC- NCL- 9%
• SC/ ST/ PW- 5%

It must be noted that if number of seats available is “N” then the top 10*N candidates will be shortlisted.

Part B – The candidates who have scored above the cut-off marks for their respective categories will be issued the CEED scorecard.

CEED 2024 Counselling

There will be no counselling for CEED 2024. The applicants who will qualify for the exam must apply separately for admission into the respective course at the preferred institutes. Those students who are shortlisted must attend a personal interview.

If the shortlisted candidates get selected, they have to pay the application fee and confirm their admission by completing the required formalities. The candidates who will qualify the entrance exam successfully will be called for counselling process. Candidates are advised to carry the required documents for the verification process.
