CEETA PG 2023 Seat Allotment (SCA to SC) has been released. Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission (CEETA PG) is organised by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of Government of Tamil Nadu. It is a state level entrance exam conducted one time in a year. Previously Anna University conducted TANCET for M.Tech, M.E., M.Arch., M. Plan but from the year 2023 CEETA PG exam is conducted for these courses. Candidates who have qualified the exam, will be admitted at University Departments, Constituent Colleges of Anna University, Annamalai University and Government Engineering Colleges only. CEETA PG 2023 Answer Key
The CEETA PG 2023 Answer Key has been available in the form of PDF. The answer key is released through online mode. The answer key provides correct answers to all the questions asked in the entrance exam. The answer key has been released on 3rd April 2023.
The answer key help the candidates to calculate the estimated marks secured by them within the entrance test. With the help of the answer key candidates are able to predict their scores before the declaration of the result. Final answer key has been released on 11th April 2023.
CEETA PG 2023 Result
CEETA PG results has been declared on 14th April 2023. Candidates are able to check their result using the details such as roll number, date of birth, etc. The merit list has been prepared on the basis of marks scored in the test. Scorecard can be downloaded from 22nd April 2023.
Along with the result, merit list of the candidates shortlisted for admission is made available. The result will not be send individually to the candidates by mail or any other offline mode. It is only available through online mode on the website.
CEETA PG 2023 Counselling
Candidates are able to register themselves for the counselling procedure from 3rd July 2023. It is mandatory for all the short-listed candidates to participate in the counselling process. It is organised through online mode.
Candidates have to pay counselling fee of Rs. 250/- plus 18% GST for general candidates & Rs. 500/– plus 18% GST for reserved category candidates.
The seats have been allotted to the candidates on the basis of rank obtained by the candidates, seat availability and preferences. Candidates will receive a call letter for CEETA PG at their registered email address. The candidates are advised to bring their documents at the time of verification round.

CEETA PG 2023 Application Form
Candidates must check the details about CEETA PG 2023 Application Form mentioned below:
- CEETA PG 2023 application form has been made available through online mode only.
- Candidate must go through the complete the eligibility criteria before applying.
- The application form for CEETA PG 2023 has been released on 1st February 2023.

How to Apply for CEETA PG 2023
- Step-1: Visit the website (link is given above).
- Step-2: Candidates first have to register by entering basic details such as name, date of birth, gender, email id, etc.
- Step-3: Then login by using Email ID and Password generated by system.
- Step-4: Fill the application form with details i.e., personal details, education qualification, choice of subject, centre, etc.
- Step-5: Upload the scanned passport size photograph below 50 KB in jpg format. The size of signature must be less than 11 KB.
- Step-6: Take the printout of the application form for future reference.
The copies of the following should be uploaded during registration:
- 10th Mark Sheet
- 12th Mark Sheet or Diploma (3 years) Certificate
- Provisional certificate, Qualifying Degree certificate and mark sheets of all semesters or Consolidated mark sheet. (Copy of both sides should be uploaded)
- Transfer certificate
- Experience Certificate (if required).
- ‘Permanent Community Certificate’ in card format or electronic form/ digitally signed e-Certificate in the case of BC, BCM, MBC & DNC, SC/SC (Arunthathiyara)/ ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu.
- Disability Certificate for Differently Abled Person (if necessary)
- Nativity Certificate only in electronic form/ digitally signed e-Certificate. (if required)
- Copy of Identification certificate obtained from the Head Quarters Tahsildar or Visa, Passport and letter registered in Police Station (For Srilankan Refugee candidates)
CEETA PG 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for CEETA PG 2023 is provided below:
- Qualification: Candidates must have bachelor’s degree or equivalent from any recognised university/ institute.
B.Pharm Degree Programmes OR (B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Pharm) OR Master’s degree in relevant branch of Science, Arts, which are prescribed OR 10+2+AMIE* 10+ 3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE*
- Marks: In qualifying exam candidates must score at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ BC/ BCM/ SCA) belonging to Tamil Nadu.
- Appearing: Those candidates appearing in final year will also be eligible to apply for exam.
CEETA PG 2023 Exam Pattern
Candidates must check exam pattern for CEETA PG 2023 given below:
- Mode of exam: The exam is conducted through offline mode.
- Duration: The duration of exam will be 2 hours to solve the paper.
- Number of Questions: There will be total 115 questions in the paper.
- Medium: The exam will be in English and Tamil language.
- Type of Questions: The paper will contain multiple choice questions in the paper.
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be provided for each correct response and 1/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

CEETA PG 2023 Admit Card
CEETA PG 2023 Admit Card has been made available through online mode. To download the CEETA PG admit card, candidate have to enter the registration number and password. The admit card has been released on 11th March 2023.
The admit card contain details about date, time and venue of the examination. Admit card is essential document candidate must carry to the examination hall with ID proof. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without the valid admit card.
CEETA PG 2023 Preparation Tips
