Admission Procedure

Candidates are required to appear the state level or national level entrance exam. Students those will pass the entrance test will be eligible for further admission processes. The final admission will be done by candidate’s performance in entrance test, group discussion and personal interview.

Entrance Exam

The aspiring candidates can apply for Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) which is the state level entrance test of AP. Through this test, students will be admitted to MBA programme. Candidates can also apply for national level entrance exams such as CAT/MAT. Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Visakhapatnam provides admission through CAT (Common Admission Test) only.

MBA Admission 2017

To appear the entrance test, candidates are required to fill the application form provided by the respective authorities. Before applying, candidates are advised to check their eligibility for entrance test. The basic eligibility conditions that must be fulfilled by the candidates are as follows:

• Candidates should have completed graduation from the recognized institution.
• Qualifying examination should be passed with minimum total of 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category candidates).
• Candidates who are in final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.

Selection Process

Candidates will get selection on the basis of their rank in entrance test. The seats will be allotted during the counselling process. The candidates have to pay the prescribed fee for the counseling registration and choice filling. The candidates can fill as many choices as possible but the final selection will be done by order of preference and candidate’s rank.  After seat allotment, candidates will be required to report to the allotted college along with all the necessary documents required on the day of admission.
