CMC Vellore Nursing 2023 Result

The CMC Vellore Nursing result will release from 25th May 2023 for PG nursing courses and 26th May 2023 for UG nursing courses. The result will be available through online mode. The final selection of candidates will be done based on their results.

The candidates can check the result by entering their User ID and password. The candidate who qualify the entrance test will be called for counselling and interview. Candidates need to take the printout of the CMC Vellore Nursing result for the further admission process.

CMC Vellore Nursing 2023 Admission

The admission process will be organised for the shortlisted candidates. The counselling will be commenced from 17th August 2023 for PG and from 27th November 2023 for UG courses. The special test and interviews for selection to the various courses will be held at Vellore campus. Candidates must carry original documents for verification at the reporting day.

The final merit list of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of their combined performance in online test, special test and interview. Finally selected candidates should report to the allotted institute to complete the formalities of admission with given time limit.

The CMC Vellore Nursing Admit card has been made available through online mode from 10th May 2023 for UG nursing and 5th May 2023 for PG nursing. To download the admit card candidate have to enter user name, date of birth and password.

The admit card contain details like venue, date and time, roll number, etc. Candidate reporting for exam must carry with the printout of the admit card as without admit card no one will be allowed to give the exam.

CMC Vellore Nursing 2023 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for the CMC Vellore Nursing is given below:

• Mode of exam: The exam will be conducted through online mode.
• Medium: The paper will be in English language only.
• Type of questions: The paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions.
• Duration: The duration of the exam will be 1 hour and 10 minutes for UG courses and 1 hour and 30 minutes for PG courses.

The eligibility criteria for the CMC Vellore Nursing are given below:

For B.Sc. Nursing:

• Qualification: The candidate must have completed their 12^th or intermediate from any recognized board or institute.
• Marks: Candidate must obtain at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) in qualifying exam.
• Gender: Only unmarried women candidates can apply for B.Sc. Nursing course.
• Subjects: Candidates must have subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and English as mandatory subjects for exam.

For M.Sc. Nursing:

• Qualification: Candidate must pass B.Sc. (Hons.)/B.Sc. Nursing in Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing or any equivalent from any recognised board.
• Marks: The candidate must score minimum of 55% aggregate marks to qualify the exam.
• Experience: Candidate must have minimum of 1 year experience after be registered with the State Registration Council of Nursing and midwife.
