CUCET 2024 Application
Complete instructions and details must be checked by students regarding CUCET 2024 Application form filling:
- The online registration process has been started from 20th October 2023 for 1st Phase.
- Complete registration and form filling procedure is carried out through online mode.
- Last date of application submission for CUCET (Phase 1) is till 30th July 2024. After which the Phase 2 registration process has started.
- For phase 2, the application process has been started on 30th July 2024.
- Application procedure follows various steps – Online registration, form filling, uploading images/ documents, application fee payment & printing of application.
- Students must take utmost care while filling the application form as changes are now allowed after submission.
- Only one application must be submitted by students as multiple forms may lead to rejection.
- The mobile number and email address using which the registration is done must be valid and accessible.
Application Fee:
- The application fee payment can be done by online mode.
- Fee is Rs.1000/- for various courses.
- Candidates can pay fee using debit card/ credit card/ net banking method/ UPI wallet through various gateways provided.
How to Apply for Chandigarh University CUCET ?
Candidates can apply for CUCET in Chandigarh University through online or offline mode:
Online mode:
- Visit the online website.
- Click on the option provided as – ‘Registration for CUCET 2024’.
- A new page will open, now click on – ‘New Registration’ option.
- Complete instructions will be displayed on screen, now start filling your form.
- Register by entering necessary details and completing the application by filling personal details, choosing paper, exam city, providing education qualifications, etc.
- Recheck complete filled details as correction may or may not allowed later.
- Upload images/ documents asked as per your qualification according to prescribed format and size.
- Pay application fee as prescribed for various categories.
- Candidates have to fill in their qualification with school name, subject and make choice of exam date shown in the dropdown.
- With the registered login, now appear for CUCET exam according to the scheduled date and time.
- Results will be displayed through login and will be intimated to candidates through mail/ mobile number.
Offline mode:
The students who are applying offline have to purchase the CUCET brochure cum application from University office/ authorised centres with payment of fee of Rs.1000/-. After this, follow the further steps mentioned below:
- Visit the online website.
- On the registration page, you have to register by creating the profile.
- Now scratch the CUCET form received offline and fill up the unique number provided on the form in the option available on the website.
- Fill up the current qualification with the name of school, subjects and choose the exam date available in dropdown section.
- On the scheduled time and date appear for exam by entering their login details.
- Students can check results for same through login. Also, results details will be intimated to candidates through email.
CUCET 2024 Correction
Students must re-verify complete details filled in application before final submission as the authority may or may not provide the edit facility to registered candidates. If provided, changes or modification can be done by candidates by online mode. Corrections in application is not provided through any offline mode/ post.
Correction facility in CUCET application form will be enabled after the completion of application process. Candidates are required to login with their registered details.
CUCET 2024 Eligibility
Given below are the general Chandigarh University CUCET Eligibility criteria for the 2024 session:
- For UG: Candidates must have passed their 12th level (10+2) with 50% marks from a recognised board/ university. Those failing in 1 or 2 subjects will not be considered eligible.
- For PG: A candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognised university with at least 50% marks in graduation.
- There is no age limit for the candidates. However, candidates must check the age norms at the Universities for which they are taking admission.
CUCET 2024 Exam Pattern

- CUCET Exam mode: CUCET Phase 1/2 will be conducted in online mode only. Students can appear at home using a laptop/ PC with a camera.
- System requirement: Students must appear for CUCET with a laptop with a web camera and stable internet connection (≥ 1 Mbps).
- Exam Instructions: Students appearing for CUCET must adhere to exam instructions as notified by University. An exam invigilator will be available on ‘Live chat’ for solving students’ queries.
- Test Attempts: Multiple phases of CUCET – I & II will be organised. However, only two attempts per phase is allowed.
- Duration: For CUCET, 120 minutes duration will be given.
- Medium of examination: The online exam will be conducted in English medium language only. Those who had 10+2 Arts can make choice of Hindi.
- Type of question: The paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Total questions: There will be total 100 MCQs in the paper.
- Marking scheme: 1 mark will be given for every correct answer. There will be no negative marking in exam.

CUCET 2024 Admit Card
Chandigarh University CUCET Admit Card 2024 is available for downloading after few days on completion of application process. Students must go through the instructions mentioned in admit card and follow them strictly in the exam day. No admit cards will be sent through post.

CUCET 2024 Answer Key
