CUSAT CAT 2024 Result will be published through online mode. The Common Aptitude Test (CAT) is an university level entrance exam which is conducted once in a year. The Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kerala conducts the CUSAT CAT exam. 

The CAT exam is a combined entrance exam conducted for admission into various UG & PG programs offered by university. The university offers admission in field of Engineering, Commerce, Humanities, Law and Management. The admission will be offered among three campuses of CUSAT i.e two in Kochi (Kalamassery and Ernakulam) and one in Kuttanad, Alappuzha.

CUSAT Result 2024

The university will publish the CUSAT CAT 2024 Result through online mode. The candidates will be able to check their result on their website. The university will not send any email or SMS regarding release of results. It will be released for every participating candidate individually. 

CUSAT 2024 results will be announced in second week of May 2024. Candidates will be able to check the result by entering  their roll number and password. The university will also release a rank list which will consist of candidate’s rank based on which candidate’s will be called for counselling procedure.

CUSAT 2024 Rank List

CUSAT 2024 Rank List will be published by the authority via online mode. It will be released a few days after the declaration of result. The authority will release a rank list along with CUSAT CAT 2024 result. 

Rank list will be prepared on the basis of score in test and number of candidates that have appeared for test. Candidates will be selected for counselling procedure based on the candidates name on rank list.

Tie Breaking Criteria

While preparing CUSAT CAT 2024 rank list, If a tie arises when two or more candidates secures same total marks in entrance exam, following criteria will be followed, one after the other, to resolve tie:

• The higher marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in CAT will be considered in same order. 
• The total number of correct answers of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in CAT will be considered in same order.
• The date of birth  of candidates in descending order will be considered in respective order.
• The name of candidates in alphabetical order will be considered in respective order.

CUSAT CAT 2024 Cut Off

CUSAT Cut Off 2024 is a set of minimum marks prescribed by university. The university releases cut off marks to shortlist candidates for counselling and further admission process. 

The candidates will be required to score minimum cut-off marks to be considered eligible for admission. The university will release a separate cut-off list for all categories based on which seats will be allotted to candidates. CUSAT cut-off will be released after the declaration of result through online mode. 

CUSAT 2024 Counselling

CUSAT 2024 Counselling will be commenced in first week of June 2024. It will be held through online mode. The university will release rank list a few days after the declaration of result. Based on the rank secured by candidates in rank list, university will send a counselling invitation letter to candidates. 

The counselling procedure will be done in various rounds which will include personal interviews and group discussion. Candidates will have to register themselves on the website to be able to participate in CUSAT counselling. At the time of counselling procedure,  candidates will be required to carry following documents  in original:
