Dehradun Institute of Technology (DIT) organizes a university level admission procedure to offer admission into various UG, PG, Diploma and Doctoral programs. To provide admission, no separate entrance exam is conducted by the DIT University.

Admission will be provided based on merit scores. For admission into MBA courses, JEE/MAT/CAT/CMAT scores are considered & admission to M.Tech courses, scores of GATE/NET is considered.

DIT University 2026 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech Courses: 

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed class 10+2 exam or equivalent from a recognized board. 
• Subject: In Class 11+1, candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics as a mandatory subject. 
• Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates are required to obtain 50% aggregate marks to apply. 

For B.Des Course: 

• Qualification: To be eligible, candidates must have passed class 10+2 level exam from a recognized board. 
• Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates are required to score a minimum 50% aggregate marks. OR Candidates having a three year full time diploma after class 10th with minimum 50% aggregate marks can apply.

For M.Tech Course: 

• Qualification: Candidates must have graduated in B.Tech/ B.E in a relevant field or equivalent from a recognized university/ institute. 
• Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates need to score a minimum 60% marks to get admission. 
• Scores: Candidates with a valid score of GATE/NET will be considered. 

For MBA Course: 

• Qualification: Those graduated candidates in any discipline from a recognized university can apply. 
• Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates need to score at least 50% marks to apply.
