FMGE 2024 Cut Off will be released in August 2024 for June session through online mode. It is a national level entrance exam conducted by the National Board of Examination in Medical Science (NBEMS). Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is conducted twice a year in the months of June and December. Qualified candidates will get provisional or permanent registration with the Medical Council of India or any state Medical Council. Only qualified candidates will be eligible for further admission procedure.

FMGE 2024 Cut-Off
The cut-off of FMGE 2024 exam will be published via online mode. It will be released in August 2024. To qualify the entrance exam, students need to score a minimum cut-off marks. The authority will publish the cut-off marks after the declaration of result.
The cut-off will depend on various factors such as candidate’s category, difficulty level of question paper, number of seats available, number of candidates etc. The cut-off marks will be decided by the exam conducting authority. The cut-off marks will be released for different category candidates.

FMGE Qualifying Marks 2024
The qualifying marks of FMGE 2024 will be 50% marks. To qualify the entrance exam, candidates will need to score at least 50% marks in FMGE results. The question paper will be of 300 marks out of which 150 marks must be scored by the candidates in the FMGE exam.
Applicants must remember that there will be no concession for the students belonging to the reserved/ PWD category.

How Cut Off Marks will be Calculated?
To calculate the cut off marks, candidates must know about calculating cut-off marks. The exam conducting authority will declare the cut off marks. The cut-off marks will be decided after taking various factors into the account. Some of the factors mentioned below:
- Number of appeared candidates
- Difficult level of FMGE examination
- Number of questions asked in exam
- The overall performance in exam
FMGE 2024 Result
The result of FMGE 2024 will be released on 6th August 2024 for June session. The result will be released in the form of a scorecard. To qualify the entrance exam, candidates will need to obtain a minimum of 150 marks out of 300 marks in the exam.
Students will be able to download the scorecard by using their login credentials such as User ID and Password. The FMGE result will be made available in the PDF format. The authority will not provide the result to the candidates individually.
FMGE 2024 Provisional Registration
Candidates who qualify the entrance examination must register to the secretary of the medical council of India, New Delhi, or any other state of India for FMGE 2024 provisional registration. Applicants will be required to apply for provisional or permanent registration. Students will need to submit the registration fees in favour of the medical council of India.
Candidates will be required to score the cut-off marks to be eligible for the practice in India. After qualifying the exam with minimum cut-off marks, candidates will undergo a one year internship process and then successfully get registered under MCI.
FMGE 2024 Pass Certificate
The FMGE pass certificate will be issued at the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) office at PSP Area, Sector-09, Dwaraka, New Delhi. The schedule for distribution of FMGE Pass Certificates will be published on the website after declaration of result. Applicants are advised that they must be present on the date and time mentioned on their entry slip to get their pass certificates.
Candidates must present along with the original documents as well as a print out of Entry Slip to the NBEMS office. Candidates who will be declared qualified in FMGE and fail to collect their pass certificates as per the assigner schedule of distribution of Pass Certificates will be able to collect the same within six months after declaration of result.
The authority stated that under no circumstances will the pass certificates be issued to any authorized representative or any person other than the candidate himself/ herself. The board will encourage students to plan their return trip for the conclusion of the certificate collection day by taking into account any unforeseen complications with identity and verification of documents.
