GATE 2024 Final Answer Key has been released on 15th March 2024. Answer Key & Question Papers has been released on 19th February 2024. GATE is a national level engineering entrance examination. Every year, IISC Bangalore and seven IITs collaborate to hold the Gratitude Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). It is being held in the year 2024 by IISc Bangalore. Candidates will be admitted to master’s and doctorate programmes in Engineering, technology, architecture, and other fields. Qualifying candidates are admitted to PG degree programmes such as M.Tech/ M.E and Ph.D. Qualification in GATE is also required for candidates seeking admission to several universities.

GATE Answer Key 2024
Various institutions provides the GATE 2024 Answer Key (Memory Based) after the exam. On 19th February 2024, the official provisional answer key has been released online. Candidates can submit objections against the answer key & can submit challenges only for a limited period of time. Using the answer key, the answers submitted in the exam can be matched with the released key.
The response sheet is made available on 16th February 2024. The answer key allows candidates to examine their total number of correct and incorrect answers. Students can estimate how many points they will receive in the end outcome.

How to Download GATE Answer Key 2024
Here are the steps to download the GATE 2024 Answer Key:
- Go to online website (link is provided above).
- Fill in the login credentials i.e User ID and Password.
- Click on the “Download GATE 2024 Answer Key”.
- Now, the answer key will appear on the computer screen.
- To calculate the probable scores, download the answer key.
- For future references, print the answer key.
GATE 2024 Responses/ OMR Sheet
GATE 2024 Response Sheet/ OMR Sheet is provided to the candidates following the release of the provisional answer key.
The response sheet is available on 16th February 2024. The aspirants can estimate their marks by comparing the response sheet to the tentative answer key. The candidates are required to pay Rs.500/- per objection order to challenge the GATE 2024 Provisional Answer Key.
How to Calculate Scores Using Answer Key
Applicants can determine their probable scores by comparing their response sheet with the provisional answer key. If the answer in the OMR sheet are correct as provided in answer key, then the candidates will be able to calculate their probable score successfully.
The candidates have to add and deduct the scores as per the marking scheme for the correct answers for final calculation of result/ marks.
GATE 2024 Marking Scheme
GATE 2024 Examination will be held on the 3rd, 4th, 10th and 11th February 2024. It will be conducted online (a computer-based test).
- For each incorrect answer on a 1 mark MCQ, 1/3 of the mark will be deducted,
- For 3 mark MCQs, 2/3 of the mark will be deducted,
- For numerical type problems, there will be no negative marking.
- Only multiple-choice questions will be subject to negative marking.

Challenge GATE 2024 Answer Key
The GATE 2024 Objection Facility will only be available for a limited time. The candidates will be able to submit the answer key challenges from 22nd to 25th February 2024. The applicant will be required to pay a total of rupees 500/- per question. The challenge facility will no longer be available after the deadline for filing an objection ends.
Following are the methods for submitting objections against the GATE 2024 Answer Key:
- Navigate to online website.
- The objection link will be provided above.
- Now challenge the following answer key and click the “submit” button.
- Now, Provide the supporting documentation and press the “proceed” button.
- Choose a payment method and pay the non-refundable charge rupees 500/- per question through online mode.

GATE 2024 Final Answer Key
