GATE 2024 Score Card has been released on 23rd March 2024. Result has been declared on 16th March 2024. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national level exam which is held once in a year. IISC Bangalore is the conducting authority of GATE 2024. IISC Bangalore and seven IITs (IT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee and IIT Delhi) jointly conduct the exam. Admission will be provided to the candidates into master’s & doctoral programs in the field of Engineering, Technology, & Architecture, etc.

The authority will declare GATE 2024 Result after the final answer key will be released. It will be accessible through online mode. To get the result, candidates need to enter their login information. The result will be released on March 16, 2024. How to Download GATE 2024 Result 

Candidates must check the steps to download GATE 2024 Result below:

• Go to the website of GATE (Link will be provided above.
• Now, press on that link.
• The login page for result will be shown on the computer screen.
• Then, fill your “Enrollment ID”, “ Registration No, & “Date of Birth to check the result. 
• The GATE 2024 Result will be displayed on the screen.
• Go through the result and save it for further reference. 

GATE 2024 Score Card

Following the release of GATE 2024 results, eligible applicants will be able to download their score card. GATE 2024 Score Card will be valid for three years following the date the results will be announced. On 23rd March 2024, the scorecard will be made available for downloading using online mode on the website.

Applicants can utilise GATE 2024 Score Card/ Result to apply for jobs at PSUs such as BHEL, ONGC, SAIL, GAIL, and others. They can also use it to pursue M.E/ M.Tech and Direct Ph.D. programs at NITs, IITs, and CFITs.

Tie- Breaking Criteria 

Incase, two or more applicants will obtain the same scores in the examination, the merit rank will be decided by using the tie- breaking criteria as follows:

• Applicants who will score more marks in the subject questions section will be preferred over the applicant with lesser marks.
• If the tie still persists, the date of birth of the applicants will be taken into account. The higher rank will be given to the older applicant over younger applicant. 

GATE 2024 Cut Off 

GATE 2024 Cut off will be announced independently by various institutes and authorities. The cut off is the minimum number of points required to pass the entrance examination.

GATE cut off marks differ for different categories of students. The following are the projected cut off markers based on prior cut off trends:

GATE 2024 Counselling 

GATE Counselling 2024 will be conducted through online mode by going to the authority’s website. GATE Counselling will be conducted separately by COAP and CCMT. COAP will begin in the third week of March 2024. It will be published later in May/ June 2024 for CCMT.

Candidates will be assigned seats after obtaining the provisional admission letter (PAL) and reporting to the designated institutes. Candidates must also pay the fee and bring the following documents for verification:

• 12th class marksheet
• Photo ID proof

• Self attested photocopies of the documents & fee proof.
