GNIOT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech Program:
- Qualification: Candidates pass in 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board to be eligible.
- Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates must score 45% marks for general & 40% marks for SC/ST without grace candidates.
- Subject: One must have Physics & Mathematics as a compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry/ Bio-Tech/ Biology/ Tech. Vocation courses.
MBA Program:
- Qualification: Candidates must pass Bachelors degree of minimum 3 years duration from recognized university to be eligible.
- Marks: In qualifying degree, candidates must score 50% marks for general & 45% marks or SC/ST category candidates to apply.
BCA Program:
- Qualification: Candidates must pass 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board to apply.
- Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates must score 45% marks for general & 33% for SC/ST to apply.
- Subjects: To be eligible for BCA, candidates must have Mathematics as a mandatory subject in qualifying examination.
MCA Program:
- Qualification: Those passed candidates in BCA/ Bachelor degree in CSE or equivalent degree from a recognized university will be eligible. OR
- Candidates passed in B.Sc/ B.Com/ BA with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation level can also apply.
- Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must pass with 50% marks for general & 45% marks for SC/ST category.
GNIOT 2026 Admission Procedure
University will organise the GNIOT 2026 admission procedure for qualified candidates only. Those candidates who have a national/ state level entrance exam scorecard are eligible to participate. Those candidates who have submitted the application form & satisfy the eligibility norms will be shortlisted for admission procedure.
As per the merit list, applicants will be selected for the admission process. There will be various procedures in counselling such as document verification, fee submission, allocation of seats, etc. UPSEE counselling will be conducted for UPSEE qualified candidates.
GNIOT 2026 Entrance Exam (UPSEE/ UPCET)
GNIOT provides admission into various UG & PG courses based on merit list scores. Candidates can get admission through various national/ state level entrance exams & online test of GNIOT or academic performance in 12th standard into various offered courses.
Admission to the B.Tech program will be provided based on UPSEE/ JEE Mains scores. For admission to MBA programs, candidates will be required to have a CAT/ CMAT/ NMAT/ XAT/ MAT scorecard. GATE scorecard will be required for M.Tech admission.
GNIOT 2026 Merit List
GNIOT 2026 merit list will be published through online mode. Candidates will be able to access the merit list by visiting the website online. Login details such as application number & date of birth will be required to download the result. Those candidates whose name will be mentioned in the merit list will be eligible to participate in the further admission procedure.
The university will evaluate the merit list based on marks obtained by the candidates in the UPSEE entrance exam & other national/ state level entrance exam. A separate merit list will be published for different courses on the website.
GNIOT 2026 Cut Off
Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) will release the cut off through online mode. It will be released for various undergraduate & postgraduate courses. It will comprise minimum qualifying marks required for admission into various offered courses.
