HP PAT 2024 Application Form has been released through online mode only. Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test (HP PAT) is conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Takniki Shiksha Board (HPTEB), Dharamshala. This board offers admission into Diploma in Engineering, Lateral Entry Diploma in Engineering and Diploma in Pharmacy courses. Admission to the eligible candidates will be offered into various Government and Private Polytechnics Institutions and MSME Technology Centre, approved by All India Council for Technical Education. Candidates seeking admission in the specified subjects will be strictly done on the  basis of merit marks scored in the PAT exam.

• Candidates are able to fill the application form through online mode only.
• HP PAT 2024 application form has been released on 28th March 2024.
• Candidates have to provide basic details like name, phone number, email Id etc. at the time of registration.
• To fill the form, candidates must enter details like personal, academic qualifications and other.
• Upload the documents such as a latest scanned colour photograph and signature in the prescribed size and format.
• Candidates must fill the form carefully and completely, as there no correction facility will be provided to the candidates.
• The last date to apply and submit the form is till 30th April 2024. 
• Candidates must be sure to take the print out of the filled registration form and keep it safe for the future reference.

Application Fee:

• The application fee for HP PAT can be submitted through online mode only.
• Candidates are able to pay the fee using debit card/ credit card/ net banking and other payment gateways.
• Fee is non-refundable.

HP PAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates aspiring to apply for HP PAT 2024, must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

• Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India.
• Domicile: Applicants must have a domicile of Himachal Pradesh state.
• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th class from a recognised board/university or its equivalent as prescribed by AICTE/COA.
• Marks Obtained: A minimum of 35% aggregate marks should be scored in the qualifying examination by the candidates.
• Subjects: Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English in class 10th as the compulsory subjects.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in class 10th will also be considered eligible to apply.

How to Apply for HP PAT 2024

Check out the steps-by-step procedure to apply for HP PAT 2024:

• Visit the Himachal Takniki Shiksha Board website (link is provided above).
• Click on the “Online Admission-2024” option. 
• Click on “New User Registration” and enter details like name, email ID, phone number, etc.
• Click on the “Submit” button.
• An OTP will be sent on the registered ID and phone number for verification.
• Applicants will be allotted user ID and password which will be provided via email or SMS.
• Now, go to the homepage, click on the “login” button and enter the user ID and password.
• Candidates will be navigated to the application form.
• Proceed to fill the form by providing all the details asked in the application form like personal details and academic qualification, etc.
• Click on the ” Save & Proceed” option.
• Now, candidates have to upload a latest scanned colour photograph and a signature in a prescribed format.
• The minimum and maximum size of the photo should be 10KB to 200KB and the size of the signature should be 3KB to 30KB in JPG format.
• Click on the “submit” option after submitting all the details.
• Click on the “Pay the fee” button. 
• Select the payment option (Net banking/ credit card/ debit card) and pay the prescribed amount of registration fee.
• At last login to the portal and take the print of the application form and the fee receipt for future use.
