It is a proctored online aptitude test conducted by the ICFAI Foundation of Higher Education Hyderabad (a deemed-to-be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956). Selection in MBA/ PGPM is given based on two components such as Micro-presentation & Personal Interview.
This exam is conducted to test students ability in quantitate techniques, analytical reasoning, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary and reading comprehension.
The ICFAI Foundation, accept scores from IBSAT 2024 and alternatively the scores of CAT/NMAT by GMAC™/XAT/GMAT™ (from 2022 onwards) for admission to the following programs:
- MBA program offered by IBS Hyderabad, IBS Bangalore, IBS Dehradun and IBS Jaipur.
- PGPM (Post Graduate Program in Management) program offered by IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Mumbai and IBS Pune.

IBSAT 2024 Application Form
Candidates must check following details regarding IBSAT 2024 Application Form:
- IBSAT 2024 Application Form has been released from 1st July 2024.
- Candidates can submit the registration process till 31st January 2025.
- While registration, candidates must not forget to upload passport size photograph & signature in prescribed format.
- The application form is made available via online & offline both modes.
- For offline mode, candidates have to purchase from IBS Marketing Branches, from the nearest branches.
- There are common application form for MBA/ PGPM programmes at different campuses.
- All communication details are sent to candidate’s registered mail ID & number. So, it must be valid/ working.
- Once all details are completely filled, one must not forget to take its printout for future use.
Application Fee:
- Application fee can be be paid via online & offline both modes.
- For online mode, credit card, debit card or net banking method is used.
- Candidates can make payment directly through an IBS centre for offline mode.
- IBSAT 2024 registration fee is Rs. 1800/-.
- In any case, fee is non-transferrable.
IBSAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check following eligibility criteria before applying for IBSAT 2024:
- Qualification: Applying candidates must have qualified graduation with English medium.
- One must have completed minimum 15 years of education (10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis).
- Candidates not meeting eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation have to submit TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score by 31st May 2025.
- Percentage: He/ she must have scored at least 50% or above marks to be eligible for same.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
IBSAT 2024 Exam Pattern

- Exam Mode: It will be held through online (Remote Proctored Computer Based Test).
- Exam Duration: Total of 2 hours will be given to solve the exam.

IBSAT 2024 Syllabus
The IBSAT syllabus includes various topics from subjects which are decided by the conducting body. There are 5 different sections in the question paper as Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation and Data Adequacy and Analytical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension.
The IBSAT syllabus will be as as given below:
- Quantitative Aptitude: Arithmetic Progression, Installment Payment, Profit and Loss, Venn Diagram, Algebra, Coordinate Geometry
- Data Adequacy and Data Interpretation: Linear Arrangement, Data Interpretation based on Graphs and Tables, Causes and Effects and Visual Reasoning

IBSAT 2024 Admit Card
IBSAT 2024 admit card has been issued by authority. It is made available via online mode. To get admit card, candidates have to enter their login details. Hall Ticket has been released during slot booking process only.
It consists of all details such as candidate’s name, exam name, roll number. exam timing & other exam instructions. No candidates is allowed to permit for examination without valid admit card & one ID proof.

IBSAT 2024 Result
Candidates are able to download IBSAT 2024 Result via online mode. No candidates will get it via post or any other medium. Candidates have to enter their roll number & password to get result.
The result has been announced on 31st December 2024. A combined merit list has been published with a category-wise merit list for all the candidates participating in the examination.
IBSAT 2024 Cut Off
Candidates will be able to check IBSAT 2024 Cut Off after result declaration. Cut off criteria is released at each campus separately. Cut off marks will be the minimum marks one have to score to meet the requirement for further process.
One who score minimum cut off marks will further have to participate in Micro Presentation and personal interview rounds.

IBSAT 2024 Selection Process
The selection process for IBSAT 2024 has been started from 15th February 2025. Candidates who qualifies on the basis of IBSAT/ GMAT™/ XAT/ CAT NMAT by GMAC™ is considered in the selection process. For final selection, past academic performance, micro presentation & PI is considered.
The detailed personal letters with the Form, IBS Placement Brochure, Selection process and Travel information to IBS Hyderabad are dispatched to all the qualified students, expected to receive in the next two days.
Selection briefing is done for qualified candidates in 60 cities across the country. It includes Micro Presentation & Personal Interview.
- Micro Presentation – Selection process is a brief talk or presentation where candidates demonstrate their communication, presentation skills, and ability to think quickly on their feet.
Candidates will have the opportunity to select one topic out of three. The format allows for 4 minutes in total: 1 minute for preparation and 3 minutes for delivering the presentation. - Personal Interview: In this round, each candidate will be interviewed for 5-7 minutes. The interview panel will focus on assessing the attitude and aspirations of the candidates besides evaluating their General Knowledge, communication skills, clarity of thought and expression, as well as aptitude for a career in management.
IBSAT 2024 Counselling
IBSAT 2024 Counselling Procedure will be held via online mode. Candidates who will be shortlisted in merit list have to attend the Micro Presentation and personal interview rounds.

IBSAT Scholarships

- Admission and Registration: Applicants must complete the admission process, register on the specified date, and pay the Requisite admission fee to be eligible for the scholarship.
- Applicability: The amount of scholarship awarded to candidates will be adjusted solely against the program fee and payment will not be utilized for any other purposes or fees.
Withdrawal Policy: In case student withdrawal from the program for any reason, any applicable fee refunds will be calculated after deducting the scholarship sum granted earlier.
