ICAR AIEEA 2023 Application Form

Candidates can check here some important instructions to fill ICAR AIEEA 2023 Application Form:

  • The online application form will be started from the first week of March 2023.
  • The application form for ICAR AIEEA 2023 can be filled out and submitted through online mode only.
  • Candidates can fill out the online application form till the last week of June 2023.
  • The details mentioned cannot be changed further, once the application form is submitted.
  • Every candidate needs to complete the submission of their application form before the specific dates as no application form will be accepted after the due date.
  • Printout of the confirmation page should be sent along with the proof of fee payment for future reference.

ICAR AIEEA Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for ICAR AIEEA 2023 is given below:

  • Nationality: The candidates should be Indian national citizens.
  • Aadhaar Card: Aadhaar Card is mandatory except for Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, and Meghalaya state candidates.

For UG Courses:

  • Age: The minimum age will be 16 years as of 31st August 2023.
  • Qualifying Exam: Passed the 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board is required to apply for ICAR AIEEA 2023.
  • Subject: The examination should be passed with PCM/ PCB/ PCMB/ PCF subject combinations.
  • Marks Required: General OBC/ UPS category candidates have to obtain 50% marks in the qualifying exam and 40% for SC/ ST/ PC category candidates.
  • Appearing: Appearing candidates can also be eligible to apply but, they have to produce proof of qualifying for the examination.

For PG Courses:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed graduation with four/six (10+6 B.Sc. Ag.)/five years’ (B.V.Sc. & AH)/51⁄2 years (B.V.Sc. & AH) degree.
  • Marks: 60% marks for General, OBC, UPS & EWS categories and 50% marks for ST/SC & PwD categories.
  • Candidates must have completed B.V.Sc. & A.H. with internship before the date of admission.

ICAR AIEEA 2023 Exam Pattern

ICAR AIEEA exam pattern is given below for the candidates of UG and PG courses:

For UG Courses:

  • Mode of Examination: The mode of the exam will be CBT (Computer Based Test).
  • Duration: The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • Total Questions: There will be a total of 150 questions in the question paper.
  • Medium: The question paper will be in English and Hindi.
  • Type of Questions: The question paper will be of multiple-choice questions (MCQ).
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.
  • Negative Marking: There will be a negative marking of 1 mark.

For PG Courses:

  • Mode of Examination: The mode of exam will be held through online mode.
  • Total Questions: The question paper will consist of 120 questions.
  • Question Type: The Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) will be asked in the examination.
  • Total Marks: The question paper will consist of 480 marks.
  • Medium: The question paper will be in English medium only.
  • Marking Scheme: Candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark for the wrong answer.

ICAR AIEEA 2023 Syllabus

The ICAR AIEEA Syllabus for UG and PG courses. The topics for the UG courses will come from the 12thclass Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology), Mathematics, and Agriculture.

The ICAR AIEEA Admit card will release in 1st week of August 2023. There will be an e-admit card to download. The authority will upload the e-admit card on the NTA website during the specified period.

Candidates can access the admit card by entering the application number and date of birth. Authority will release the admit card for every registered candidate for the exam. Candidates should self-attest the copy of the admit card otherwise no candidate can appear in the examination.

ICAR AIEEA 2023 Result

The ICAR AIEEA Result will be announced in 1st week of October 2023 through online mode. By using their login account details, candidates can view the result.

The authority will also prepare a subject-wise merit list on the basis of the result. The result will be available in form of merit rank secured by the candidate. All the candidates who appeared for the entrance test will be awarded test-wise rank as per marks secured in the test preparation.

ICAR AIEEA Counselling 2023

The ICAR AIEEA Counselling will be started from the 2nd week of October 2023. The mode of counseling will be an online process. It is mandatory to register on the ICAR for admission followed by a counselling process.

The candidates will be called for counselling, based on the overall merit rank. To participate in the counseling, the candidates have to download their call letters. Based on choice opted by the qualified candidate and availability of seats, the seats in various agriculture colleges will be allotted.

    For pg apart from plant biotechnology, physical science and agronomy is there any other general studies that a candidate must do ? Or a candidate can prepare only above three mentioned subjects?

      The topics for the UG courses will come from the 12th class Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology), Mathematics, and Agriculture. The topics for the PG courses will come from Plant Biology and Agronomy.
