National Testing Agency (NTA) organizes the All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA). It is conducted on a national level for offering admission to UG & PG professional degree programmes. From year 2023, the admission for UG courses is on the basis of CUET scores. AIEEA UG will be organized for Bachelor degree courses in the field of agriculture and AIEEA PG is organized for Master’s degree programmes offered in the various Agricultural Universities. ICAR 2024 AIEEA Exam Pattern

The exam date of ICAR AIEEA 2024 has been announced through CUET UG & AIEEA PG. It will be held from 15th till 31st May 2024. It will be held on 29th June 2024 through AIEEA PG. Candidates must check it through NTA website. Authority will release official information bulletin few days before the commencement of application form.

The exam will be organized for both UG & PG courses. The ICAR AIEEA 2024 Admit Card will be released from last week of May 2024 for UG courses and will be released in last week of May 2024 for PG level courses. It will be made available through online mode only. There will be no other mode to get the admit card via offline or by post.

It will be a mandatory document to enter the examination centre (exam hall). Candidates are advised to also carry one valid ID proof with admit card at the examination center.

Through CUET-UG:

  • Mode of Examination: The mode of the exam will be CBT (Computer Based Test).
  • Total Questions: There will be a total of 100 questions in the question paper.
  • Medium: There will be 13 languages for UG level course i.e., Punjabi, Assamese, Gujarati, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Odia, English, Tamil, and Urdu.
  • Type of Questions: The question paper will be of multiple-choice questions (MCQ).
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 5 marks will be awarded.
  • Negative Marking: There will be a negative marking of 1 mark.

AIEEA PG:

  • Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through online mode.
  • Duration of Exam: The duration of the exam will be 150 minutes.
  • Total Marks: The Paper will be of 480 marks.
  • Questions: The examination shall have one question paper for each of the 20 major subject-groups consisting of 120 multiple choice objective type questions & also 10 cross-matching type questions.
  • Marking Scheme: Each correct MCQ question will be awarded with 4 marks will be awarded.
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer from total score.

  1. Can someone confirm about the marking scheme for ug cause it says 600 marks total but then it shows 50 marks for each subject and if I’ve selected ABC as subject choice how would the makes be distributed ?

  13. I have registered for ICAR exam for UG admissions, but still not received the admit card, also I wish to ask whether the exams will be online this year due to COVID and lockdown? means I can sit at home, log in and write the exam papers?
    As I am staying abroad with my parents,I may not be able to travel because of the lockdown and unavailability of Intl. flights.
    I need admissions in Agricultural colleges.
