Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will be conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). From 2022, IGNOU OPENMAT exam has been cancelled. Here are details about IGNOU 2023 application form with some key instructions:

  • The application form of IGNOU 2023 will be available through online mode, no other mode will be applicable.
  • Application form for B.Ed. course will release from fourth week of March to fourth week of April 2023.
  • IGNOU application form for UG/ PG courses will release from first week of May to fourth week of July 2023.
  • Fill the application form with details such as personal, education qualification, email id, etc.
  • Candidates need to upload scanned documents such as photograph, signature, copy of age proof, category certificate, etc.
  • There will be no need to send hardcopy of the filled application form to the authorities.
  • Download the form and take the printout of the application form for further use.

Application Fee:

  • Application fee for IGNOU 2023 will be submitted through online mode.
  • Candidates can pay the fee through Credit card, Debit card and Net Banking.

IGNOU 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must check the following eligibility criteria for IGNOU before applying for application form:

B.Ed. course:

  • Qualification: Candidate who have bachelor’s degree from any discipline can apply for exam.
  • Marks: Candidates must have 55% marks to be eligible for admission.
  • Selection: It will be necessary for the candidates to appear in the entrance exam to get admission.

MBA Program:

  • Qualification: The candidate must be graduated from recognized university/ institute.
  • Marks: In qualifying exam candidate must obtain at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category).
  • Selection: The candidates will be selected based on the entrance test performance.

How to Apply for IGNOU 2023

Following are steps for filling the online application form of IGNOU 2023 below:

  • Visit the website (link will be available above).
  • If candidate is already registered, they have to login by entering username, password, and enter captcha.
  • For New candidates they are advised to click the available programme tab on home page.
  • Click on the button New Registration that appears in applicant login.
  • While choosing the Username it must be between 8 to 16 characters.
  • Fill the application form with details such as personal, education qualification, phone number, etc.
  • Upload the scanned documents i.e., photograph, signature, category certificate, BPL certificate, etc.
  • The size of scanned photograph and signature should be less than 100 KB.
  • Size of scanned copy of age proof, category certificate, BPL certificate must be less than 200 KB.
  • Candidates can now proceed to the payment of application form among the different payment options.
  • The fee will be submitted through online mode using Net Banking, Credit card, Debit card, UPI services.
  • The confirmation page of online application form will be generated only after successful payment by the candidate.
  • Download and take the printout of the application form and fee receipt for future reference.
