IIHS University 2026 Eligibility Criteria

For Master Courses: 

• Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any subject or discipline to be eligible for admission. 
• Age Criteria: Applying candidates age should not exceed 35 years as on 1st August 2026. 
• All candidates must have basic proficiency in reading English. Support will be available for those with limited English speaking skills. 
• Selection: Candidates will  be selected on merit, based on their scores in entrance exam conducted by the university, along with written essays, and interviews. 

For Doctoral Programme: 

• Qualification: Applying candidates must have completed a Master’s programme from a recognized university by the time of admission can apply. 
• Scores: To be eligible, candidates must have achieved at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale in their master’s programme.   

IIHS University 2026 Entrance Exam

IIHS University conducts its own entrance exam to provide admission into various offered courses. Exam will be conducted in the last week of June 2026 tentatively. Candidates will be able to appear for the exam through online mode. It will consist of the Multiple Choice Questions in English medium only.

The time slot for the exam will be declared on the university website and communicated via email. There will be two sections in exam i.e (a) General section, covering reading comprehension, and basic mathematical and logical reasoning & (b) an Advanced section, with knowledge-based questions across themes of the Master’s programmes. 

Candidates must respond to all questions in the General section. In the Advanced section, candidates can select which questions they would respond to, based on their skills, education, and interest. Candidates must respond to a maximum of 50% of the questions in the Advanced section.

Both the sections, General & Advanced will carry equal weightage in the final selection. Those who will secure less than 40% marks in the entrance exam will not be considered for the next stage. 

IIHS University 2026 Admission Procedure 

In IIHS University 2026 admission procedure, there will be various steps in it. Candidates will have to fill out the application form via online mode by submitting the prescribed amount of application form. 

Admission to the university master’s programmes will follow a two state process, combining an entrance exam, written submissions, and an interview process. Final selection of the candidates will be based on cumulative scores from stage 1 & stage 2. The table below specified the relative weights: 

IIHS University 2026 Result/ Merit List 

IIHS University 2026 result will be announced in July 2026. Declaration of shortlisted candidates will be done on the website. Candidates will have to use their login details to access the result from the website. 

Those qualified candidates in the entrance exam will be eligible to participate in the further counselling procedure. Candidates are suggested to keep the hardcopy of result safe for further usage in admission. 

IIHS University 2026 Counselling 

In IIHS University 2026 counselling, there will be a two stage admission procedure organized for Master’s programmes. 

In Stage I: Candidates will have to register online on the university admission portal and secure a unique application ID. Submit the completed online application form on the university portal. Part A of the application form requires personal information and particulars, including relevant supporting documentation as applicable. Candidates will also be required to fill out Part B of the application form including a statement of motivation and easy in response to a set of given questions and an option sample of work (not mandatory). The university will follow a weighted diversity points system in the admission procedure. 

In Stage 2: The written essay will  be submitted by the shortlisted candidates in the admission application form and will be assessed and graded at Stage 2. Part B will be online interviews, shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for an online interview. Candidates will be expected to make themselves available for a 30 minutes interview slot anytime between June to July 2026. The final selection of the candidates will be based on cumulative scores from stage 1 and stage 2. 

Those successful and waitlisted candidates will be informed of an offer of admission via email and on the application portal. Admitted candidates must confirm their acceptance by the timeline specified, and pay a refundable admission deposit of INR 5,000/-.

Admission will be confirmed upon successful submission and verification of self-attested certified copies of documents, and payment of the admission deposit. Candidates will have to verify their documents to get admission. List of required documents is mentioned below.
