IIMC Entrance 2024 Result will be released in the third week of July 2024 through CUET UG. The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) offers admission in various PG Diploma courses in subjects such as Hindi and English, Odia (Dhenkanal), Urdu, Marathi, Malayalam, Journalism and others. IIMC had its own university-level entrance exam till 2021 to provide admission to all PG diploma courses. Since 2022, entrance to various diploma courses at IIMC is based on CUET (PG) scores. IIMC Entrance 2024 Result 

The Result for IIMC Entrance 2024 will be released by authority via online format for various courses. Authority will announce result twice, first after written test and again after the interview round.

Merit list will only contains names of the candidates who will be shortlisted for the next round of interviews. The results will be released in the form of merit list. It will be published in PDF format including candidates’ names and roll numbers.

• Navigate to the website of IIMC Entrance (link will be provided above).     
• Go to the Home page’s News and Announcements section.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     
• Now, to view the merit list, click on the PDF file link provided.
• Submit by clicking on the applied course.
• The candidate’s outcome will be presented on the computer screen. The shortlisted candidate’s roll number will be included in the outcome under the various courses area.
• Print the PDF file after you’ve downloaded it.

IIMC 2024 GD & PI Round 

Candidates who will  pass the written exam will be invited to the interview round. The GD and PI Rounds will take place in August 2024. Institute will publishe the list of candidates chosen for interviews. A second list will be  also created for reserved category applicants.

The written exam and interview groups are weighted 85:15. To be eligible for admission to IIMC and its associated colleges, applicants must pass the GD and PI rounds.

IIMC Entrance 2024 Selection

Candidates will be admitted to IIMC after passing entrance exam and GD and PI rounds. NRI/NRI Sponsored applicants will not be required to take written exam and will be chosen based on their performance in the GD and PI rounds.

IIMC 2024 admission procedure will be  followed by counseling process. Counseling Registration will begin in the fourth week of July 2024. It will be done based on the candidate’s performance in the written test. Call letters for GD and PI rounds will be sent to qualified candidates. The final selection of candidates for admission might take place till first week of October 2024.

IIMC Entrance 2024 Tie-Breaking Criteria 

In the event that two or more applicants obtain  same score, the merit position will be decided using the following tie-breaker criteria. Following is a list of IIMC Entrance 2024 tie-breaking criteria:

• Applicants will be graded higher if they provide more accurate answers to the exam questions. 
• The candidate with fewer negative responses on question paper will receive a better rating if there is still a tie.
• In the event that there is still a tie,  candidate who is older will be given precedence.
